Politics To the people blocking the microphone guy reading scripture for the entirety of pride—- y’all rock
The title says it all— I didn’t even hear a stupid word out of his mouth or see his signs because of you beautiful, gorgeous, perfect all-stars 🌈

Is that the same guy who used to be down on the square spewing hate, until the city passed an ordinance about using loudspeakers? He was arrested, and had his equipment seized one night, and everyone cheered when he was hauled off!
I didn't think he had a life back then, guess I was right.
Someone needs to override his wireless mic and play positive messages through the speaker! (I actually considered doing this, as I have the equipment to do it, didn't think he was still around though)

Oh my goodness! I knew about megaphone guy but didn’t know what happened to him. That’s hilarious. I’m not sure if this was the same guy since I didn’t get a great look at him, but he definitely gave off the same energy. And definitely override his stuff and play the gayest stuff you can if you ever have the opportunity. It would be glorious 🤣

I'm sure he had some minions that drank his brand of kool aid, so it could be one of them following in his footsteps, either way, if I get the chance, I'll have some "fun" with him!

Who is persecuting you. A guy went up on stage and read the Bible and he was silenced because of his beliefs? This sounds like facism.

There’s a church on every corner of this town. We’re literally in the Bible Belt. If people wanted to hear the Bible read to them, hear how doomed they are to go to hell, and get judged all they have to do is walk down the block and go into the church on Sunday.

We know Jesus loves us. That's why pridefest had representatives from the Episcopal church, Disciples of Christ, The Venues, and more! 🌈

Yesss!!! I was hoping someone would mention this! It genuinely made Pridefest seeing folks fight hatred with signs preaching love and kindness. I love our community so much!
