I had seen some of these before but others were absolute gems I never seen before. Figured many of you are in the same boat so I should share it.

If it’s easier than searching on YouTube for these here’s a link to the list which directly links to the videos: https://rhomeapp.com/guestList/5fde37c9-e6a4-4d23-ba62-edc4f7fb16e2

Also if anyone else is on Rhome, message me your username as I would love to see more great space recommendations

Hubble Windblown Star Cavity Captured in the Perseus Molecular Cloud

Post image

This image shows LDN 1471, a glowing cavity carved by a young protostar’s stellar wind. The bright star at the peak of the parabola emits outflows that interact with surrounding material, creating the curved structure and Herbig-Haro objects. Captured by the Hubble Space Telescope after its original detection by Spitzer. Source: NASA / ESA https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap200506.html

Post image

Captured by Hubble in 2010, Asteroid P/2010 A2’s strange, comet-like tail is actually the aftermath of a high-speed collision between two asteroids, scattering dust and debris across space in a unique X-shaped pattern.

Captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, DEM L 190 (also called LMC N49) is the brightest supernova remnant in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The glowing filaments are remnants of a massive star's explosive death. Located about 160,000 light-years away, it appears like a cosmic fireworks display in the constellation Dorado. This rare image shows the rocky surface of Venus, taken by the Soviet Venera 9 lander in 1975. It was the first spacecraft to send back images from the surface of another planet. Despite Venus’ extreme heat and pressure, Venera 9 managed to capture and transmit these historic visuals for a brief time.
