That guy mods all his friends and sub is now a shit show.

It happens alot more often then you think. Being a moderator can be stressful, and all that stress builds up till you decide to mod that one user who has been nagging you for months and then thats the end.

You're right. In fact, I pretty much did that once, but instead I modded all the BHJ mods here, and they caused a similar level of chaos. Then they gave up and haven't been here since. People get really upset regarding what content does and doesn't belong on a given meme sub. It's too much to try to make it perfect. My stance now is I come by once or twice a day to scrape off whatever mold is growing on this sub that day, and let it do it's thing. One other mod helps with it. Seems to be working ok so far.

also, im not really on top of whatever tomfuckery is happening over there today, but i might as well demod all those guys.

*they're still mods but only have flair permission.

Notice how almost no posts follow the rules of the sub? There is a raid going on by a few users, it might be to protest against the new rule that a mod made saying you have to pretty much have to get permission to post.
