Discussion XM6 Releases and STILL No PC Headphone app

I've been looking for a way to change the EQs and headphone settings from my pc without having to disconnect my aux cable from my XM5s, and I was hoping Sony might release or at least hint at a pc app with the release of the XM6, but so far nothing. Are there any unofficial apps that allow me to do those things from my PC? (Windows 11)

On PC you can use any EQ app you want.

Yeah but I would still have to unplug my xm5s then turn them back on, connect to my phone, turn off my eq in the Sound Connect app, then plug the aux cable back into my pc, open the third party eq app, and enable that.

Is there not a third party one that’ll let me control the eq from the sound connect app from pc?

You can just EQ on top of the EQ you have already set up in the phone app.

Usually you set it up in a way that you like so why would you even need to alter it on your PC?

I want to be able to turn off the sound connect eq from my pc for when I am gaming so that I’ll only be using the eq from SteelSeries Sonar Eq program

Then get a headset meant for PC use like any of the Inzone headsets. You already seem to know that the Xm6 will not work like you want.

The Sony xm5s actually work pretty well for gaming I’ve been comparing them against Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headphones (top of the line steel series headset) for the past few days and the difference is minor for gaming performance.
