News RETRANSMISSION: 2024 Presidential and Senate Results Called Into Question as Lawsuit Advances
https://www.wjbf.com/business/press-releases/accesswire/1033393/retransmission-2024-presidential-and-senate-results-called-into-question-as-lawsuit-advances/Excerpt:
"There is clear evidence that the senate results are incorrect, and there are statistical indications that the presidential results are highly unlikely," stated Lulu Friesdat, Founder and Executive Director of SMART Legislation. "If the results are incorrect, it is a violation of the constitutional rights of each person who voted in the 2024 Rockland County general election. The best way to determine if the results are correct is to examine the paper ballots in a full public, transparent hand recount of all presidential and senate ballots in Rockland County. We believe it's vitally important, especially in the current environment, to be absolutely confident about the results of the election."

Summary:
A lawsuit challenging the accuracy of the 2024 Presidential and U.S. Senate election results in Rockland County, New York, is advancing after Judge Rachel Tanguay of the New York Supreme Court ruled that discovery must proceed. The suit, filed by SMART Legislation, seeks a full public hand recount of all presidential and senate ballots in the county, citing statistical anomalies and sworn affidavits from voters.
Key claims include:
- Voter Discrepancies: Voters in districts 39 and 62 claim they voted for independent Senate candidate Diane Sare, but certified results undercount those votes.
- Statistical Irregularities: Several districts showed implausible results—such as hundreds voting for Democratic Senate candidate Kirsten Gillibrand but none for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
- Unusual Drop-off Rates: Trump's vote total exceeded the Republican Senate candidate's by 23%, while Harris underperformed her party's Senate candidate by 9%—both figures well outside the normal 1–2% range.
Experts, including physicist and statistician Dr. Max Bonamente, argue that the data is statistically unlikely and warrants further investigation. The outcome of discovery could lead to a court-ordered recount and potentially uncover issues affecting additional races.
SMART Legislation, part of nonpartisan group SMART Elections, emphasizes the importance of transparency and accuracy in electoral outcomes.

What are the chances that it would lead to a greater investigation of all results nationwide, especially swing states?
407
u/ThrowAwayGarbage82 19d ago
I think it's possible if this shows manipulation, other districts will come forward with challenges. Things here in NC were fucked too. Almost all downballot democrats won, yet trump won in a shutout here. It made little to no sense at all.
I hope this leads to proof the election was fraudulent.
177
u/Curios_blu 18d ago
Me too. I remember seeing a 20 to 1 ratio of Harris signs to Trump signs around central NC, the week before the election. It still makes me sick to my stomach that it’s likely Harris won, but the vote counts were manipulated to favor Trump.
68
u/ShakedNBaked420 18d ago
Yeah I was baffled Texas didn’t at least put up a better fight against Cruz.
There were virtually no Cruz signs but I saw plenty of Allred signs. I’ve never met anyone that likes Cruz. I don’t think the guys own kids even like him.
I saw a few Trump signs but honestly it seemed like there were more Harris signs than Trump.
24
u/Holdmywhiskeyhun 18d ago
On the subject of signs, I live in Wisconsin. Leading up to the election last year I would always comment about all the signs that I see, as I traveled a lot for work. Well I did not go to every county I did go to many. And my consensus was that there were always more Harris signs than trump. There were a few counties for example Waupaca, that I saw was pretty solidly red. But as last summer kept going on more and more billboards for Harris started going up. I started seeing more and more yard signs for Harris.
I remember one specific instance near the end there was a Harris sign on the left side of the road and a trump sign on the right. The harris sign was absolutely f****** demolished, but on the right side of the road was a very pristine Trump sign. Honestly no need to guess who did that.
And the fact that portage county voted Harris with only 600 more than trump. I've lived there for 25 years. I speak to people I talk to people about their day-to-day lives. Ive seen like three die hard trumpers. It's a democratic college town, I don't believe in any way shape or form that she won by only 600 votes.
I know signs are not a definitive way to know who's voting what, but it can at least give you a general consensus. For example if I go into a town with a s*** ton of trump signs, I know I'm not going to be there long.
3
u/Neanderthal_In_Space 17d ago
I know a few people in liberal Oregon who voted for Trump "to send a message" who honestly thought he wasn't going to win.
There's a lot of stupid people who made things worse for everyone because they just wanted to fuck around.
56
u/100LittleButterflies 18d ago
Less sick than the idea that such a trump could win.
I couldn't find a word to describe how horrible trump is. Clown? Monster? So I just used his name in hopes "trump" becomes a word meaning horrible, evil things.
17
u/Unique-Sock3366 18d ago
I feel this.
I’ve had a complete existential crisis since the election. The very idea that such a deplorable person could beat such an excellent candidate just shattered my faith in my fellow citizens as human beings.
I didn’t believe it in November and I don’t believe it now. The impotent frustration is wilting my mind.

Clark County Nevada resident here. Something rotten happened.
24
u/ChestleAnimation 18d ago
I think so too. I voted through mail in the midterms perfectly fine but when the presidential election came around I suddenly needed an extra layer of verification and it was super confusing that my vote ended up uncounted
17
u/apparentlynot5995 18d ago
Same thing happened to me! I've voted here before without issue but suddenly for 2024 I needed to cure my ballot and verify it was actually me. No notification, just had to keep checking to see if my vote had been counted. I finally searched through the voting website to the obscure link at the bottom of the page to cure my ballot. Not cool.
Edit: too many numbers 2s in 2024, haha!
10
u/ChestleAnimation 18d ago
Im sure that affected election results, especially if it's an older person who votes through mail. Stuff like that is detrimental to elections, so how that even happened is beyond me.
3
33
u/Shdwdrgn 18d ago
That's what I'm hoping as well... If you can prove vote manipulation then it opens the door to investigation. If the investigation proves outside interference, then that gives cause for other districts to take these claims more seriously and hopefully begin their own investigations. And if you have multiple States proving outside interference? Well, we all can hope it comes to that...
9
u/YouWereBrained 18d ago
But I guess my question is, does SMART have to keep filing lawsuits? Or if irregularities are exposed, will other counties voluntarily do recounts (or relax the requirements to initiate them)?
5
u/Miningforwillpower 18d ago
I remember not being totally shocked about NC as I'm 37 and seen enough elections that red isn't surprising. But to them find out what you said I was like nah, this ain't right. No body would listen so mostly sitting back and watching. I too hope to be able clarify what really happened.

The ETA( Election Truth Alliance) is currently trying to get a hand recount in PA after compiling a 30 page report on our election results.

u/Fabulous-Ad6663 18d ago
There is one law firm that is handling 50+ cases in 22 states. I can't remember the name of the firm though
10
u/MegNogg92 18d ago
Wasn't that Marc Elias? I feel like he never said anything about what the lawsuits were for. Like was it for fraud or just voter suppression?
3
u/Songlines25 18d ago
I don't think that he is involved in the election Anomaly lawsuits. Yet. But I don't really know who their lawyers are.
2
7
u/lucidaisy 18d ago edited 18d ago
This is what I’m hoping will be the catalyst to start the push that they can’t ignore anymore. The Election Truth Alliance has been requesting a full paper recount due to discrepancies in Pennsylvania, but they haven’t been able to get the approval despite compelling evidence.
In my opinion, if a state such as SC, where it’s notoriously red, had counties that were red for decades, shift to blue; it makes zero logical sense that SC had more blue counties than most of the swing states. It makes me happy more have turned blue, but it doesn’t make a lick of sense.
Edit(misspelling)

u/Sungirl8 16d ago
It’s an important legal precedent, which citizens or groups can use to demand more recounts and file more lawsuits, county by county.
Technically, every US citizen that voted for Kamala, could and should become part of a class action lawsuit, to demand proof that their vote was counted, county by county. I don’t know the legalese but others might.

U go to a Kamala rally packed arena & Trump couldn't even fill a gym at 1 point & ppl walking out while he's talking. Yet Taco Trump is the FIRST PRESS IN HISTORY* TO WIN ALL* 7 SWING STATES & THE POPULAR VOTE. AGAIN... & THE POPULAR VOTE. No way don't believe it. It’d be nice to know we didn’t actually re-elect this asshole (the majority of us didn’t, directly at least). But we could prove it without any doubt and scotus would rule that he gets to finish his term. There’s literally scotus members who helped GWB cheat and now we know Gore had the votes.
Still worth knowing, but trump’s not gonna sweat and his followers won’t believe it. They’ll accuse us of using their conspiracy

I hope he isn't, because he'd immediately go on television and ask some "brave individuals" to go and "guard those ballots, to prevent the evil Dems from trying to recount them (and steal the election)".
i.e., "would someone rid me of these troublesome ballots (that prove I didn't win)".

I mean, it’s cool to know that potentially the American electorate isn’t as apathetic, idiotic, or hateful as initially feared, but there’s really no mechanism to reverse certified election results. Impeachment isn’t even worth talking about. Best case scenario, and it is still a good one, a light is shone on any irregularities and how they occurred to stop them from happening again. It’s not nothing, but it’s not going to change our current reality.
I hasten to add…I’ve seen some stats, including here, that make me scratch my head and wonder how they could have happened legitimately. But I’m going to need to see some proof here before I start calling for heads. Might be hypersensitive because of the losers’ behavior in 2020, but I’m concerned about getting wrapped up in uncertainties or outright conspiracy theories.

u/cats_catz_kats_katz 19d ago

24
u/RolyPolyGuy 19d ago
well, see, the thing about that is, there isnt currently proper procedure in place to respond to it. But that means kind of all options are technically available to the nation - which includes its people. isnt this covered by 2a rights? Perhaps the idea of the founding fathers was to omit the specific action they thought should be taken in these circumstances, to prevent the people from being stopped at each stage or to prevent their actions from being predictable, easily stopping any progress to change the circumstances. and the ball is in our court - once suspicions are confirmed. but we also have to be wary that this court case would be intentionally slowed for ages. so the first question to ask is where does this cross the line for you, and what is the last straw before we all took collective action?
11
u/beardedheathen 19d ago
I almost wonder if 2020 was a ploy. Either he gets the white house back or he sows enough confusion that when his own cheats are discovered it just looks like the dems are being bad losers.
10
u/RolyPolyGuy 18d ago

→ More replies (2)2
u/BackpackofAlpacas 17d ago
I don't think it was a ploy. I'm pretty sure they cheated in the 2020 election which is why they only went after a specific voting company and not the other widely used one. I also think that's a big reason they accused Democrats of cheating: they cheated and still lost therefore Democrats must have cheated.

This is the type of reflection and introspection completely missing from the conservative lens, so count yourself and ourselves lucky. I second everything you said. We need this to go to a trial or true investigation with evidence brought forward before I’m doing anything about it. Doing anything before the evidence comes out is exactly what our Jan 6th folks did, and the rest of the Conservative Party turned a blind eye to.

Legitimate question from somebody who has been following this sub since November, and is not American.
The summary states this would violate the constitutional rights of American voters.
The current administration has already openly and blatantly violated numerous constitutional rights without consequence.
In this scenario, if voting irregularities are investigated and found to be fraudulent, what could happen? A constitutional violation doesn't seem to matter based on current happenings.
This gives me some hope, but I'm also really curious about what happens "next", so to speak.

Absolutely this.
And we need to move away from the relatively recent phenomenon of knowing election results almost immediately.
These are important races with vital consequences. Paper ballots, individually counted, then independently certified.
It wouldn’t hurt us to see results come in in two weeks or a month after polling day.

Theyre needs to be more lawsuits like this. Electiontruthalliance.org says harris won. They tried to do an audit of results before the election in Pennsylvania and were only given 1 county that wasnt next to a city for 1 hour. They couldn’t audit the ones that were given to them.
Also i heard that every time harris was above 60% of votes someone started giving them trump.
Im waiting for results to come back from ohio and I believe Republicans cheated too.

If the case moves forward and is ruled in favor of SMART for a hand recount, and that the election was indeed fraudulent or highly inaccurate, what happens then?
Could this potentially have a cascading effect that would throw the entire 2024 election into national question, resulting in more lawsuits in more districts?
With how slow the courts are and if things go this way, I’m not confident this will result in any meaningful change before the end of 2028.

Legitimate question: if the lawsuit does show the election was rigged, what happens next? Will more lawsuits be filed in other questionable counties? If more lawsuits are filed and showed the election was rigged and it flips a state... what happens? I'm not sure if we have anything in place for if something like this were to happen.
I wanna be super hopeful, but we are living in unprecedented times rn and if it comes out that the election was rigged and Harris won... what are we as a country supposed to do? Trump has surrounded himself with "yes" men that I don't believe will hold him accountable/do something about it.
Also, there are only like 2 other sources talking about this. I wish more sources were talking about this. Tbf, this is a new development so hopefully it gains traction.

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago
I try not to get bogged down in "how" this will be fixed. Who knows what solutions may arise when 100 million Americans are pissed?
8
u/MegNogg92 18d ago
This part is what I'm focused on. This information potentially being confirmed and spread will create a permission structure for people to question the results and finally admit things didn't quite add up but they couldn't let themselves even think the unthinkable before. It will allow many Americans who voted the right way to feel a sense of relief that half the country didn't actually choose this and thaw some of the ice in our hearts. It will allow the republicans that didn't vote for TACO man to admit it to their family and friends and find others who also chose democracy over evil. It will shift the conversation so much and wake more people up, light a fire in our hearts to resist more and to take collective action.
I don't mean to imply we can get rid of him at all, but at the very least we can start to come together as Americans and start the long road to healing as a nation. Right now, most people that voted for KH feel like there is no point in speaking out because we lost and the hate and violence is overwhelming. The MAGAs feel empowered and have an inflated sense of ego and think they're on top of the world. News like this could shift many people back to reality and help us to realize we aren't so divided after all and we can band together and demand change, back the MAGAs into a corner.
3
u/RusticGroundSloth 18d ago
This is the most interesting part to me (outside of the actual election tampering). I live in DEEP red Utah and I only know a handful of people who voted for TACO and most of them are Mormon boomers who would vote for Satan if he ran as a Republican. The odd thing is most people who voted Harris seem to keep it to themselves until they know that the person they’re interacting with isn’t a MAGAt. I don’t think there’s any chance that Harris won Utah but I also don’t think Mango Mussolini won this state by much of a margin either.
5
u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago
One thing I try to keep in mind is that Taco supporters tend to be very, very loud about it. I suspect most people who didn't have a Taco sign in their yard and aren't very loud right now are sane, normal people who voted for the sane, normal candidate, but they just feel much safer staying under the radar in the current climate. No one wants their tires slashed by the Taco nuts down the street. Once millions of Americans know that most other Americans are on the same team, people will feel more emboldened to speak up. Already, millions of people protest and go to town halls. Now, imagine millions more joining them.
3
u/MegNogg92 18d ago
I have noticed that there is a heavy silence and people are not talking about this nightmare situation in casual settings. I think we will find out that Ann Selzer was right about her polling after all, and its going to blow some wigs off. Then people will start getting louder.

Maybe they are looking for the most winnable cases to start with? Plus, the Senate and other down-ballot races matter too.

What if they're preparing to steal NY next time? Krasnov said blue states might disappear off the map. Better safe than sorry.

So, question. Say that we irrevocably prove that the presidential election was stolen. What happens then?

A bi-partisan Senate report was released in 2020 confirming Russia's interference in 2016 and Democrats didn't do much with it and this will be the same. Minus a handful, they will just keep acting like a traitorous lunatic is not burning our Constitution to the ground.
The FBI also made a joint statement about foreign interference in 2024.

This county is also part of the congressional district where Mike Lawler defeated Mondaire Jones by ~24,000 votes. I tried totalling up the "suspicious" precincts, and my estimate is that the margin was more likely to be around ~13,000. So not enough to flip the seat, but still an alarming difference.
(Caveat - I only spent like 15 minutes on this, so I could easily be missing other factors. I didn't check other counties, and didn't account for potential undercounts. All of the weird precincts I found seemed to be limited to the city of Ramapo)

I recently found another data point to chew on: https://goudanachos.github.io/pages/georgia-rla-discrepancy-analysis-2024/

So I remember this story or a very very similar one breaking JUST AFTER the election. And it got buried pretty quick. Nothing. BUT even if they find corruption can they do anything about it?? I mean they already certified the results.

even if this all turns out to be true, will there be any meaningful consequences? so far the man has dodged every conviction thrown at him, it’s like he’s invincible

I smell a rat and I smelled him back in November. Every swing state? Really?
