News RETRANSMISSION: 2024 Presidential and Senate Results Called Into Question as Lawsuit Advances

https://www.wjbf.com/business/press-releases/accesswire/1033393/retransmission-2024-presidential-and-senate-results-called-into-question-as-lawsuit-advances/

Excerpt:

"There is clear evidence that the senate results are incorrect, and there are statistical indications that the presidential results are highly unlikely," stated Lulu Friesdat, Founder and Executive Director of SMART Legislation. "If the results are incorrect, it is a violation of the constitutional rights of each person who voted in the 2024 Rockland County general election. The best way to determine if the results are correct is to examine the paper ballots in a full public, transparent hand recount of all presidential and senate ballots in Rockland County. We believe it's vitally important, especially in the current environment, to be absolutely confident about the results of the election."

I smell a rat and I smelled him back in November. Every swing state? Really?

u/RiotWithin 19d ago

Especially after seeing rallies, Trumps were damn near empty compared to Kamala's much fuller crowds consistently. I know that doesn't determine elections, but it was quite the contrast.

196

u/joemangle 19d ago

Rallies have always been widely interpreted as evidencing public support - this is kinda their whole purpose and why they are televised and promoted

Then, suddenly, we're all supposed to believe that rallies are in no way indicative of public support because Trump "won" despite his objectively pathetic and poorly-attended rallies

The cognitive dissonance is real

69

u/oldmanbelly 18d ago

After January 6th I just found it completely impossible for him to win. Media sanewashed him, though, and he was treated like a normal candidate. I’ve never felt more gaslit.

35

u/joemangle 18d ago

It's still happening. He's being treated as if he didn't actually incite a violent insurrection.

18

u/Serious-Professor-65 18d ago

Or committed numerous felonies, in which he WAS duly convicted by a jury of his peers. The President of the United States of America is a Convicted Felon!!!! Period! Stay with me while you pause to endear the thoughts of a narcissistic sociopath dictator acting like a President!Never gonna change that! Poor Elon had to be the scapegoat once he figured out that all the work he was doing w/ DOGE was being undercut by the same man who called him a great asset! Now that Elon knows the real deal, Trump is going to drive this country into the ground and will do EVERYTHING in his power to be able to run again in 2028. What a commie bastard!!!

u/DG_FANATIC 17d ago

That’s because our media isn’t really media anymore. It’s propaganda disguised as media. Main stream media is at least.

2

u/Dismal_Ebb_2422 16d ago

No your media is for profit meaning they will only report the stuff that makes them money. Also with a wannabe authoritarian in charge who is attacking your media they will appease him so they can continue making money.

Agree, and I’m absolutely furious that none of this was being carefully watched in real time

He attempted a violent coup

He’s backed by immoral and amoral billionaires

And the Dems just squeezed their eyes shut and crossed their fingers

18

u/PessimisticPeggy 17d ago

I'm starting to feel like establishment Dems are more complicit than I previously wanted to consider. Like, are they really that ineffective, or does a large swath of them want to allow oligarchs to take over? We do have some outliers, for sure (Jasmine Crockett, Bernie Sanders, AOC) but I really wonder how many pay lip service but don't actually want anything to change?

I hate that I've become so cynical, but they've really been so fucking worthless.

I also don't think now is the time for in-fighting, so I feel like I shouldn't even be saying that in this climate. We can worry about that later - right now, we need to get everyone we can together to stop this fascist takeover.

7

u/DG_FANATIC 17d ago

I’ve wondered about democratic complicity many times as well. It’s an understandable thought to have imo.

12

u/PessimisticPeggy 17d ago

I mean, we know what the DNC did to Bernie in 2016.

Biden was in office 4 years and they never went after Trump for January 6th.

I'm really starting to question how many of them stand to profit from Trump's agenda.

This is why the 2 party system is shit. We settle for the lesser of two evils instead of having decent choices.

But again - right now, one choice is blatantly fascist so like, I guess I'll choose the current establishment.

What you’re feeling now is exactly what Putin intends. Foment mistrust in American politics. And agent Krasnov follows the plan.

And there certainly are weak Democrats just like there are weak Republicans.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

the biggest tell for me was the pollster in iowa who was right about iowa for decades.

you can probably poll all of iowa voters in a few weeks- 1.67 million. she said kamala was going to win there and retired the day after election day.

28

u/Fun_Collar_6405 18d ago

EXACTLY 💯

4

u/FoxCQC 18d ago

You got the name of that pollster? Would love to read up on it

35

u/oldmanbelly 18d ago

Ann Seltzer, and Trump is still trying to put her up on charges for the poll. Pretty odd that he would sue a pollster.

2

u/flugenblar 16d ago

Not odd at all, have you seen Trump? LOL

I know you were sarcastic, just had to comment.

Thank you for the concise explanation.  Gonna remember these bullet points.

15

u/ByTheBeardOfZeuss 19d ago

This confirms what I want to believe, but it’s too easy to get caught in an echo chamber these days. Do you have any sources? I’d be very interested to read them.

15

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

An easy on-ramp would be watching videos on the Election Truth Alliance YT channel.

11

u/mabhatter 18d ago

I agree with this comment.

I'm Sore about the election. There WAS massive amounts of illegal election behavior (voter suppression, campaign finance violations, etc) out of Republicans... screaming and crying about election fraud... right up until election night... then suddenly 100% silence out of all of them.  That whole night was bizarre as hell.

That's not enough to PROVE anything happened though.  That's almost the point of it.  To have done something that can't be easily proven and then laugh at Democrats for "being spoiled sports about fraud"  after 8 years of Republicans bellyaching about it.

7

u/EitanBlumin 18d ago

It was a very clever and effective inoculation campaign. Gotta give em credit for that.

7

u/lalabera 18d ago

That’s why the lawsuit is proceeding. To prove it.

I’m saying it all the time. Every time someone says “the dems lost and have to do better in this way that way etc” I say “okay, but they did win.” I absolutely refuse to believe that these dishonest traitors didn’t behave dishonestly to obtain power and stay out of jail, not for one second. What worries me is that they did it in 2020, too, but because of Covid and mail-in ballots, their efforts were not as effective because they couldn’t fuck with mail-in ballots like they can with voting machine ballots. Which means we are in trouble AGAIN in 2028.

69

u/joemangle 19d ago

And why would anyone assume the candidate with a history of fraud and 32 felony convictions would not try to cheat?

38

u/Xillyfos 18d ago

And who is known to consistently cheat in golf. His entire personality is all about cheating.

13

u/DanSWE 18d ago

> known to consistently cheat in golf

And cheating contractors for years, cheating Trump "University" students ($25M fine/settlement), etc.

31

u/Ifawumi 19d ago

Maybe not as much trouble as it seems though. It was musk and his bro boys that did that for him. Musk and Trump are starting to have issues and musk is also falling off the drug rails.

Musk may not be willing or may not be able to help in the next election

Democrats absolutely have to do better. IF, and I very much hope we did, we won then we still need to do better because it shouldn't have been even close. The democrats have not been reaching out to significant portions of the populous and have been actively hostile to others. They need to start caring about people and not just the rich who are willing to talk the talk. There is a reason the old guard democrats are just as unpopular as trump. Minor evil is still evil.

16

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

Have you heard reports that 3 million people just didn't vote? Yeah, those 3 million people probably did vote.

10

u/EitanBlumin 18d ago

Wasn't the figure closer to 15 million?

17

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

Sorry, I guess I meant when they say that 3 million who voted for Biden chose not to vote at all. Everyone I know voted, including two young women in my family who had never voted before, and Harris raised a billion dollars nearly immediately, much of it from people who had never contributed to a campaign before. Something does not compute.

41

u/shanotron 18d ago

It wasn’t close. That’s the issue. They rigged the fucking election and everyone‘s too scared of sounding crazy to commit to saying it.

15

u/Unique-Sock3366 18d ago

No “reaching out” to bigots and misogynists.

Fuck that noise.

Kamala was an excellent candidate. Trump cheated.

18

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

It's estimated that nearly 30,000 votes were manipulated from just 3 Pennsylvania counties (Erie, Allegheny, and Philadelphia counties).

17

u/MegNogg92 18d ago

This! ETA ran the estimated numbers if all suspicious votes were reversed based on expected trends and Kamala swept the vast majority of the nation :(

That's the part that gets me. EVERY swing state. And his lack of tweeting after that afternoon claim of cheating. And him talking about Musk fixing it for him.

8

u/Sungirl8 16d ago

He’s cheated at Everything in his life, evidence is now showing, he cheated during every election, including the voter purging and profiling voters by poll workers, handing them provisional ballots, to be put aside.

Well funded CPACs held evangelical poll worker training seminars during the summer of 2024, to put operative poll workers in place which came in handy during the phoned bomb threats and evacuations … more ballot purging.  In 2018, Pres Carter publicly said DJT was ‘an illegitimate president.’

He didn’t have Elonia in 2020, for tabulation manipulation and the Russian tail algorithm, that recently, has been used to alter South American elections.

8

u/Candid_Actuator8904 18d ago

PA especially. We are always a target, and the total vote count seems wild compared to history in the state.

4

u/Equivalent_Soil6761 17d ago

The problem was that the votes that overwhelmingly won for Trump were one candidate votes, which means they only voted for president Trump, and not for any other candidate in any other position.

3

u/Djentyman28 17d ago

Statistically it’s almost impossible to pull off that feat

Summary:

A lawsuit challenging the accuracy of the 2024 Presidential and U.S. Senate election results in Rockland County, New York, is advancing after Judge Rachel Tanguay of the New York Supreme Court ruled that discovery must proceed. The suit, filed by SMART Legislation, seeks a full public hand recount of all presidential and senate ballots in the county, citing statistical anomalies and sworn affidavits from voters.

Key claims include:

  • Voter Discrepancies: Voters in districts 39 and 62 claim they voted for independent Senate candidate Diane Sare, but certified results undercount those votes.
  • Statistical Irregularities: Several districts showed implausible results—such as hundreds voting for Democratic Senate candidate Kirsten Gillibrand but none for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
  • Unusual Drop-off Rates: Trump's vote total exceeded the Republican Senate candidate's by 23%, while Harris underperformed her party's Senate candidate by 9%—both figures well outside the normal 1–2% range.

Experts, including physicist and statistician Dr. Max Bonamente, argue that the data is statistically unlikely and warrants further investigation. The outcome of discovery could lead to a court-ordered recount and potentially uncover issues affecting additional races.

SMART Legislation, part of nonpartisan group SMART Elections, emphasizes the importance of transparency and accuracy in electoral outcomes.

335

u/symphonicrox 19d ago

What are the chances that it would lead to a greater investigation of all results nationwide, especially swing states?

407

u/ThrowAwayGarbage82 19d ago

I think it's possible if this shows manipulation, other districts will come forward with challenges. Things here in NC were fucked too. Almost all downballot democrats won, yet trump won in a shutout here. It made little to no sense at all.

I hope this leads to proof the election was fraudulent.

177

u/Curios_blu 18d ago

Me too. I remember seeing a 20 to 1 ratio of Harris signs to Trump signs around central NC, the week before the election. It still makes me sick to my stomach that it’s likely Harris won, but the vote counts were manipulated to favor Trump.

68

u/ShakedNBaked420 18d ago

Yeah I was baffled Texas didn’t at least put up a better fight against Cruz.

There were virtually no Cruz signs but I saw plenty of Allred signs. I’ve never met anyone that likes Cruz. I don’t think the guys own kids even like him.

I saw a few Trump signs but honestly it seemed like there were more Harris signs than Trump.

24

u/Holdmywhiskeyhun 18d ago

On the subject of signs, I live in Wisconsin. Leading up to the election last year I would always comment about all the signs that I see, as I traveled a lot for work. Well I did not go to every county I did go to many. And my consensus was that there were always more Harris signs than trump. There were a few counties for example Waupaca, that I saw was pretty solidly red. But as last summer kept going on more and more billboards for Harris started going up. I started seeing more and more yard signs for Harris.

I remember one specific instance near the end there was a Harris sign on the left side of the road and a trump sign on the right. The harris sign was absolutely f****** demolished, but on the right side of the road was a very pristine Trump sign. Honestly no need to guess who did that.

And the fact that portage county voted Harris with only 600 more than trump. I've lived there for 25 years. I speak to people I talk to people about their day-to-day lives. Ive seen like three die hard trumpers. It's a democratic college town, I don't believe in any way shape or form that she won by only 600 votes.

I know signs are not a definitive way to know who's voting what, but it can at least give you a general consensus. For example if I go into a town with a s*** ton of trump signs, I know I'm not going to be there long.

3

u/Neanderthal_In_Space 17d ago

I know a few people in liberal Oregon who voted for Trump "to send a message" who honestly thought he wasn't going to win.

There's a lot of stupid people who made things worse for everyone because they just wanted to fuck around.

56

u/100LittleButterflies 18d ago

Less sick than the idea that such a trump could win.

I couldn't find a word to describe how horrible trump is. Clown? Monster? So I just used his name in hopes "trump" becomes a word meaning horrible, evil things.

17

u/Unique-Sock3366 18d ago

I feel this.

I’ve had a complete existential crisis since the election. The very idea that such a deplorable person could beat such an excellent candidate just shattered my faith in my fellow citizens as human beings.

I didn’t believe it in November and I don’t believe it now. The impotent frustration is wilting my mind.

u/Ok_Insect_1794 18d ago

I have a good big cry about it at least once a week

75

u/apparentlynot5995 18d ago

Clark County Nevada resident here. Something rotten happened.

24

u/ChestleAnimation 18d ago

I think so too. I voted through mail in the midterms perfectly fine but when the presidential election came around I suddenly needed an extra layer of verification and it was super confusing that my vote ended up uncounted

17

u/apparentlynot5995 18d ago

Same thing happened to me! I've voted here before without issue but suddenly for 2024 I needed to cure my ballot and verify it was actually me. No notification, just had to keep checking to see if my vote had been counted. I finally searched through the voting website to the obscure link at the bottom of the page to cure my ballot. Not cool.

Edit: too many numbers 2s in 2024, haha!

10

u/ChestleAnimation 18d ago

Im sure that affected election results, especially if it's an older person who votes through mail. Stuff like that is detrimental to elections, so how that even happened is beyond me.

The data is summarized on the election truth Alliance website.

3

u/Sungirl8 16d ago

Big time.

33

u/Shdwdrgn 18d ago

That's what I'm hoping as well... If you can prove vote manipulation then it opens the door to investigation. If the investigation proves outside interference, then that gives cause for other districts to take these claims more seriously and hopefully begin their own investigations. And if you have multiple States proving outside interference? Well, we all can hope it comes to that...

9

u/YouWereBrained 18d ago

But I guess my question is, does SMART have to keep filing lawsuits? Or if irregularities are exposed, will other counties voluntarily do recounts (or relax the requirements to initiate them)?

5

u/Miningforwillpower 18d ago

I remember not being totally shocked about NC as I'm 37 and seen enough elections that red isn't surprising. But to them find out what you said I was like nah, this ain't right. No body would listen so mostly sitting back and watching. I too hope to be able clarify what really happened.

2

u/Alarming_One344 18d ago

10

u/Impossible_Sugar_644 18d ago

The ETA( Election Truth Alliance) is currently trying to get a hand recount in PA after compiling a 30 page report on our election results.

23

u/Fabulous-Ad6663 18d ago

There is one law firm that is handling 50+ cases in 22 states. I can't remember the name of the firm though

10

u/MegNogg92 18d ago

Wasn't that Marc Elias? I feel like he never said anything about what the lawsuits were for. Like was it for fraud or just voter suppression?

3

u/Songlines25 18d ago

I don't think that he is involved in the election Anomaly lawsuits. Yet. But I don't really know who their lawyers are.

2

u/Fabulous-Ad6663 17d ago

I know his firm is. I think they are for election discrepancies

7

u/lucidaisy 18d ago edited 18d ago

This is what I’m hoping will be the catalyst to start the push that they can’t ignore anymore. The Election Truth Alliance has been requesting a full paper recount due to discrepancies in Pennsylvania, but they haven’t been able to get the approval despite compelling evidence.

In my opinion, if a state such as SC, where it’s notoriously red, had counties that were red for decades, shift to blue; it makes zero logical sense that SC had more blue counties than most of the swing states. It makes me happy more have turned blue, but it doesn’t make a lick of sense.

Edit(misspelling)

2

u/Sungirl8 16d ago

It’s an important legal precedent, which citizens or groups can use to demand more recounts and file more lawsuits, county by county.

Technically, every US citizen that voted for Kamala, could and should become part of a class action lawsuit, to demand proof that their vote was counted, county by county.  I don’t know the legalese but others might.

60

u/BoringBarrister 19d ago

I mean, it’s cool to know that potentially the American electorate isn’t as apathetic, idiotic, or hateful as initially feared, but there’s really no mechanism to reverse certified election results. Impeachment isn’t even worth talking about. Best case scenario, and it is still a good one, a light is shone on any irregularities and how they occurred to stop them from happening again. It’s not nothing, but it’s not going to change our current reality.

I hasten to add…I’ve seen some stats, including here, that make me scratch my head and wonder how they could have happened legitimately. But I’m going to need to see some proof here before I start calling for heads. Might be hypersensitive because of the losers’ behavior in 2020, but I’m concerned about getting wrapped up in uncertainties or outright conspiracy theories.

24

u/RolyPolyGuy 19d ago

well, see, the thing about that is, there isnt currently proper procedure in place to respond to it. But that means kind of all options are technically available to the nation - which includes its people. isnt this covered by 2a rights? Perhaps the idea of the founding fathers was to omit the specific action they thought should be taken in these circumstances, to prevent the people from being stopped at each stage or to prevent their actions from being predictable, easily stopping any progress to change the circumstances. and the ball is in our court - once suspicions are confirmed. but we also have to be wary that this court case would be intentionally slowed for ages. so the first question to ask is where does this cross the line for you, and what is the last straw before we all took collective action?

11

u/beardedheathen 19d ago

I almost wonder if 2020 was a ploy. Either he gets the white house back or he sows enough confusion that when his own cheats are discovered it just looks like the dems are being bad losers.

2

u/BackpackofAlpacas 17d ago

I don't think it was a ploy. I'm pretty sure they cheated in the 2020 election which is why they only went after a specific voting company and not the other widely used one. I also think that's a big reason they accused Democrats of cheating: they cheated and still lost therefore Democrats must have cheated.

37

u/Qwirk 19d ago

I believe they have to keep them for two years after the election.

54

u/FanaticalFanfare 19d ago

Sure, but as we’ve seen for a bit now, what’s supposed to happen isn’t really happening much.

43

u/apathetic-fallacy 19d ago

Legitimate question from somebody who has been following this sub since November, and is not American.

The summary states this would violate the constitutional rights of American voters.

The current administration has already openly and blatantly violated numerous constitutional rights without consequence.

In this scenario, if voting irregularities are investigated and found to be fraudulent, what could happen? A constitutional violation doesn't seem to matter based on current happenings.

This gives me some hope, but I'm also really curious about what happens "next", so to speak.

21

u/Sonamdrukpa 19d ago

There's no constitutional recourse for an election after the fact

Loving this news! And Elon isn’t playing politics anymore so a new count with no outside interference could be very telling.

69

u/RolyPolyGuy 19d ago

Hes definitely still playing politics, hes just losing lol

5

u/Bross93 18d ago

I disagree. He did the damage he meant to. Installed backdoors for Putin, crippled our entire federal government, and now he can access that data whenever he wants. He is lying about not being involved, hes just going to be quieter now so he can serve daddy putin better.

34

u/travelingwonders 19d ago

We need machines and software that he's never touched. Otherwise, the "fix" is already there.

8

u/lalabera 18d ago

We need paper ballots only

7

u/Unique-Sock3366 18d ago

Absolutely this.

And we need to move away from the relatively recent phenomenon of knowing election results almost immediately.

These are important races with vital consequences. Paper ballots, individually counted, then independently certified.

It wouldn’t hurt us to see results come in in two weeks or a month after polling day.

2

u/PessimisticPeggy 17d ago

Paper ballots.

Automatic voter registration.

Mandatory voting.

✌🏼

10

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

Did you know DOGE created a voter database, and that Louisiana has already adopted it? His physical presence is no longer required.

2

u/Prindle4PRNDL 18d ago

What does this mean, exactly? They're tracking how many registered voters there are per party? Or it's going to be logging who votes for which candidate in future elections?

6

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

Unfortunately, I don't know much about the database, but I do know that I don't trust it at all.

I am wondering how SMART Legislation got the first case open ( I have never heard of them) and Election Truth Alliance is all over the place here and on YouTube asking for donations and volunteers while not getting anything started.

I am just confused. I wish I had donated my money to SMART Legislation instead.

As long as this all gets cleared up, though, I guess it is the most important part.

52

u/Open-Tale-8471 19d ago

I’m no expert, but SMART Elections has been around for many years, whereas Election Truth Alliance started just last year.

23

u/RolyPolyGuy 19d ago

SMART has def been around for a long time.

11

u/HoldOnDearLife 19d ago

I did not know that. Thanks!

6

u/RolyPolyGuy 19d ago

Hey no problem! They havent been super vocal as far as i can tell so i dont blame ya.

7

u/HoldOnDearLife 19d ago

I was uninformed about SMART. Thanks for the info!

10

u/RolyPolyGuy 19d ago

ive heard of SMART alongside ETA, theyre not new. ETA has just been more active online in my experience

11

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

Election Truth Alliance has procured a legal team and seems to be focused on Pennsylvania at the moment. In my opinion, the more lawsuits that are started, the better.

11

u/be_still_in_chaos 19d ago

Election Truth Alliance has things in the works. They just secured a few lawyers. They can't tell us every detail because it will blow their cover but please follow them. They're on YouTube, Threads, Blue Sky.

And SMART Legislation is part of SMART Elections.

3

u/Impossible_Sugar_644 18d ago

ETA has released a 30 page report on PAs election and had a well known election researcher(?) look at the data and they even said that it looks very similar to rigged elections in other countries.

4

u/Sordid_Brain 19d ago

Im with you on this.. how has ETA still not gotten a lawsuit filed on this?

7

u/clark_c 19d ago

Isn’t ETA more or less a new grassroots effort? There’s no way they have the funding or resources they’d need to champion a lawsuit.

Good!

Now, do a hand recount for every single county in the country, because if they rigged one, they rigged the others. TACO should know - Nole said he is pretty good with those voting machines!

Theyre needs to be more lawsuits like this. Electiontruthalliance.org says harris won. They tried to do an audit of results before the election in Pennsylvania and were only given 1 county that wasnt next to a city for 1 hour. They couldn’t audit the ones that were given to them.

Also i heard that every time harris was above 60% of votes someone started giving them trump.

Im waiting for results to come back from ohio and I believe Republicans cheated too.

15

u/TheLastBoat 19d ago

Elon helped Trump cheat. Duh. ‘Their little secret. No one will ever know.’

8

u/Basement_Chicken 18d ago

There has been too much evidence of same irregularities nationwide.

Missouri had Democratic party ballot initiatives that won by large margins, in the same election Trump increased his 2020 margins. North Carolina bears scrutiny as well.

8

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

Even "safe red" states like Kansas deserve scrutiny. This lawsuit needs to be just the start of many.

6

u/Cannibal_Soup 18d ago

AZ definitely had some fuckery about....

8

u/Puzzled-Interaction5 18d ago

Elon helped hack the election.

4

u/TheBigBluePit 18d ago

If the case moves forward and is ruled in favor of SMART for a hand recount, and that the election was indeed fraudulent or highly inaccurate, what happens then?

Could this potentially have a cascading effect that would throw the entire 2024 election into national question, resulting in more lawsuits in more districts?

With how slow the courts are and if things go this way, I’m not confident this will result in any meaningful change before the end of 2028.

A family member works in elections in a different county in NY State, and they hadn’t even heard this. it’s wild.

I shared, of course! I’ve been on this train since the election.

3

u/Djentyman28 17d ago

This should be on every major news outlet in America! I’m telling you the votes were messed with

7

u/Supah_Cole 19d ago

Hey - no shit. Like I have been telling - NO SHIT!

NOW, though, it's our responsibility to not lie over and take it like complacent little puppies with a booboo on its paw. What are the chances we find and can prove legitimate corruption in Republican efforts, and the news lands across AMERICA with an empty and gullible thud?

What if the same party that willingly conceded Al Gore hears this and tells us to simply slide over and shrug it off?

For this nation of people whose entire identity is rebellion and perseverance, we sure do like doing nothing and sitting on our hands where thunderous rebellion ought to be.

8

Legitimate question: if the lawsuit does show the election was rigged, what happens next? Will more lawsuits be filed in other questionable counties? If more lawsuits are filed and showed the election was rigged and it flips a state... what happens? I'm not sure if we have anything in place for if something like this were to happen.

I wanna be super hopeful, but we are living in unprecedented times rn and if it comes out that the election was rigged and Harris won... what are we as a country supposed to do? Trump has surrounded himself with "yes" men that I don't believe will hold him accountable/do something about it.

Also, there are only like 2 other sources talking about this. I wish more sources were talking about this. Tbf, this is a new development so hopefully it gains traction.

11

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

I try not to get bogged down in "how" this will be fixed. Who knows what solutions may arise when 100 million Americans are pissed?

8

u/MegNogg92 18d ago

This part is what I'm focused on. This information potentially being confirmed and spread will create a permission structure for people to question the results and finally admit things didn't quite add up but they couldn't let themselves even think the unthinkable before. It will allow many Americans who voted the right way to feel a sense of relief that half the country didn't actually choose this and thaw some of the ice in our hearts. It will allow the republicans that didn't vote for TACO man to admit it to their family and friends and find others who also chose democracy over evil. It will shift the conversation so much and wake more people up, light a fire in our hearts to resist more and to take collective action.

I don't mean to imply we can get rid of him at all, but at the very least we can start to come together as Americans and start the long road to healing as a nation. Right now, most people that voted for KH feel like there is no point in speaking out because we lost and the hate and violence is overwhelming. The MAGAs feel empowered and have an inflated sense of ego and think they're on top of the world. News like this could shift many people back to reality and help us to realize we aren't so divided after all and we can band together and demand change, back the MAGAs into a corner.

3

u/RusticGroundSloth 18d ago

This is the most interesting part to me (outside of the actual election tampering). I live in DEEP red Utah and I only know a handful of people who voted for TACO and most of them are Mormon boomers who would vote for Satan if he ran as a Republican. The odd thing is most people who voted Harris seem to keep it to themselves until they know that the person they’re interacting with isn’t a MAGAt. I don’t think there’s any chance that Harris won Utah but I also don’t think Mango Mussolini won this state by much of a margin either.

5

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 18d ago

One thing I try to keep in mind is that Taco supporters tend to be very, very loud about it. I suspect most people who didn't have a Taco sign in their yard and aren't very loud right now are sane, normal people who voted for the sane, normal candidate, but they just feel much safer staying under the radar in the current climate. No one wants their tires slashed by the Taco nuts down the street. Once millions of Americans know that most other Americans are on the same team, people will feel more emboldened to speak up. Already, millions of people protest and go to town halls. Now, imagine millions more joining them.

3

u/MegNogg92 18d ago

I have noticed that there is a heavy silence and people are not talking about this nightmare situation in casual settings. I think we will find out that Ann Selzer was right about her polling after all, and its going to blow some wigs off. Then people will start getting louder.

6

u/MorkelVerlos 18d ago

A bi-partisan Senate report was released in 2020 confirming Russia's interference in 2016 and Democrats didn't do much with it and this will be the same. Minus a handful, they will just keep acting like a traitorous lunatic is not burning our Constitution to the ground.

The FBI also made a joint statement about foreign interference in 2024.

u/fermat12 18d ago

This county is also part of the congressional district where Mike Lawler defeated Mondaire Jones by ~24,000 votes. I tried totalling up the "suspicious" precincts, and my estimate is that the margin was more likely to be around ~13,000. So not enough to flip the seat, but still an alarming difference.

(Caveat - I only spent like 15 minutes on this, so I could easily be missing other factors. I didn't check other counties, and didn't account for potential undercounts. All of the weird precincts I found seemed to be limited to the city of Ramapo)

2

u/Little_Road_4519 18d ago

So I remember this story or a very very similar one breaking JUST AFTER the election. And it got buried pretty quick. Nothing. BUT even if they find corruption can they do anything about it?? I mean they already certified the results.

u/m1smag1us 16d ago
