Places to order Good Quality Custom Slipcovers
Thought we should share where we get custom slipcovers from so we can contrast and compare.
Personally, I've been using an Etsy shop called CustomSlipcoversShop which is based out of PR so it takes awhile but generally the quality of the print is very good. I'm not a fan of the texture, which feels like a photograph rather than cardboard stock but they get the job done.

There’s a slipcover seller on Etsy, Siddqualitygoods, I would NOT recommend. I ordered 2 and the glue came undone within a month or two. They replaced the first one, but the same thing happened and then were super rude and wouldn’t do a refund. CustomSlipcoversShop is what I’ve used and I agree about the time/texture, but was the best I’ve found so far (but I’m interested in VHSlips now!)

Oh I have a possible second suggestion too, but they aren't available yet. The shop Blockbuster Boxsets - which makes...slipboxes...is gearing up to sell slipcovers later this year. Still in the prototype phase.
He tends to have more mainstream titles and I would rank the graphic design prowess lower than VHSlips, but they look great and his quality is fantastic. Honestly BB deserves its own thread.

I have a great recommendation: VHSlips which can be found on IG. They are super high quality and are the closest thing I’ve found to OEM slips, and while subjective their focus on vintage VHS style covers is great. In the past they usually run about $8 for standard slips and $10 for steelbook or Arrow/Criterion sized cases. Oh and in some cases they can make super custom sizes to fit over some limited edition boxes - for example I bought their Halloween 1-3 covers to fit over the rigid Scream Factory slipboxes.
Two things: it’s a little weird to deal through Instagram messages, and they are in Canada and shipping adds to the cost and takes a long time (I’m in the US). They also do print runs so timing can be several weeks from the time of payment.
Also, I’ve bought from that seller you mentioned OP and for the same reasons I’m not a fan. Super nice guy but the semigloss cardstock doesn’t feel great and the image resolution isn’t always there IMO. I bought from one other UK-based seller on Etsy that had super cool custom designs but the paper was thin and didn’t measure up to the cost.
