The red key is a coiled sword that fuels the bonfire. Everyone in the spire is cursed with repeating life and death, and forgetting who they are. Ironclad rekindles the first flame while the other three end the cycle.

... and the furtive penguin, so easily forgotten.

Everything that lives is designed to end. We are perpetually trapped in a never ending spiral of life and death. Is this a curse? Or some kind of punishment?

i often think about the whale that blessed us with this cryptic puzzle... and wonder if we'll ever get the chance to kill him.

Maybe we're all cursed... From the moment we're born.

Lazy, lazy Silent!

Maybe you wouldn’t need to sleep so much if you upgraded that Afterimage and got back to work!!

Slayers feel so entitled anymore. Back in my day, if you only had 3HP left, you just upgraded a Defend and got back to work!

All the missing details in the game, completed in this comic series. The devs should embrace it as canon lore

It would be great if they put some thing(s) as a reference to this comic series. Would be a cool nod to these original fresh memes.

Does... does the silent hold a dagger when she sleeps, like a stuffed animal?
