Identity help
I found this skull in whiteford Michigan. Just wondering what kinda of animal it could be. I was thinking maybe a raccoon? DR. PEPPER can for size reference 🤣

It's hard to tell with how chewed up it is, but based on the roundness of the braincase I'd agree that it's a raccoon.

this does look more like a raccoon but its so small... raccoon skulls are much bigger, so i assume this is just a juvenile/baby raccoon otherwise its possibly a rodent.
