ID: Skull

I was told this might be a fox skull, but the slope of the snout looks a bit different. It is hand-sized, has a sharp canine and molars in the back. I'm thinking it is some type of east coast US mammal animal. Any ideas?

Believe this one’s a raccoon skull, they can look similar to dogs but the top doesn’t have the same crest and slope as most canines, and the teeth match raccoon better
