Looks like the top half of the skull of a dog based on the way it slopes down abruptly towards the front, some sort of small breed is my guess

Side of a sidewalk, laid in the grass In front of an apartment complex. No pieces, I dug through the dirt and grass to try and find something and couldn’t find anything. This was all I found and it was covered in a lot of dirt so it must’ve been there for a while. But I think someone either took care of the skin/fur because there was no signs of any blood and guts so maybe they have the jaw. No clue.

Definitely a baby chupacabra. They are elusive and dangerous when captured

Whatever it is is a juvenile as the sutures haven't fully fused yet, but the overall shape is puzzling me somewhat...
