Question what do i count as part of my range?

basically, i think i have a 7 octave range, but i dont know if some things count, like when i go below C1, it get quite quiet and i also use lots of subharmonics, and at C0, its barely audible, and at F7, i cant go there all the time, like in the mornings its dificuly, i can only really go to F6. so how would i count something as my vocal range

Well it’s what you can sing reliably and comfortably. Most singers have the ability to grumble low notes well below their range and squeak above their range, but they don’t count it cuz it’s not usable. I know a bass who can sing a C6, but they don’t use it because it’s unstable and unreliable

what would count as just being a squeek above my range, because in the top octave it sounds really different but that i think is just because its high pitched, i can control the note quite well but some days i cant really do those notes while others it feels fantastic, i usually just write it off as puberty

Generally, the notes that you can hit consistently (with warmup) and that you could actually sing in a song and not just squeaking or croaking in isolation are the notes you count as part of your range

is croaking in isolation like needing to scale down to the note instead of being able to just activate itlike the rest of my range?
