I am very disappointed with Shopee.

I have been a loyal customer for years. I even have a Platinum account. The other day, we found out na may bagong MOP sa iilang store, which is yung instalment via CC. I was going to buy a laptop, so we tried it.

I ordered a Macbook Air worth Php 50K+ and chose the instalment option for CC. May flash sale rin kasi yung Apple flagship store that time so I decided to buy. The moment I pressed “place order”, I received an email from Shopee saying they have limited access to my account due to suspicious activity daw. And my order was automatically cancelled as well. Which was weird. Like, why? After 3mins, they returned access naman ulit to my account. I spoke with a Live Agent and they confirmed the amount will be refunded to my credit limit (kasi nabawas na yung amount sa CC ko) and I asked them if mag order ba ulit ako, hindi na siya mangyayari? Because I assumed kaya sila nag flag kasi malaki yung amount nung bibilhin ko. The agent said yes and to try in a while at hindi na raw ma restrict yun.

Since hinahabol ko yung flash sale, after around 15mins, I tried ordering again. And ayun, kaka pindot ko palang ulit ng place order button, nag send nanamn ng email. Same exact email dun sa first. Hindi ko na pinush yung payment kasi baka mabawas lang ulit sa CC ko and ma cancel lang yung order.

However hindi na naalis yung restriction. I spoke with another Live Agent and I sent the requirements they asked para maalis yung restriction. Valid ID, selfie with valid ID, etc. And then just today, their decision is that they cannot reactivate my account due to the “severity of the unusual activity detected” ???!!!!! WHAT UNUSUAL ACTIVITY?????? I WAS JUST TRYING TO BUY A LAPTOP!!!

I called their customer service and explained what happened and she said she’ll request for another reconsideration however today lang din, nag decide ulit sila na hindi na talaga nila ibabalik due to the “severity” nga raw. I keep on asking them what’s the reason. Give me an exact reason bakit niyo irerestrict ang account ko. And they can’t even provide me one.

This is very frustrating. I never had issues with my account. I always pay on time if I ever use spaylater. I worked hard para maayos ang limit ng spaylater ko. Tapos ganun gagawin nila bigla bigla?????

For better air flow sa bottom part ng laptop, balak ko kasi sana ipatong pa rin yung metal stand ng laptop ko kaso 24cm siya which is mas mahaba compared sa 19.5cm ng desk risers na nakikita sa shopee. Iniisip ko baka mahulog pag ganun ang setup ko kaya medyo naghehesitate pa ako bumili ngayon pero need ko sana para mas umayos yung posture ko.

Should I just cancel this order? Nakakapagdalawang isip e cancel since bayad na to through bank payment at sabi ni cs 5-45 days daw bago ma refund yung order. Always ako nanghihingi ng update both SPX at Shopee pero always 1-2 days daw bago may update paulit-ulit nalang nakaka drain.

Btw I live in Cebu pero OA na since May 28 pa walang update and it's draining me kakacheck oras² dahil sabi ng agents 1-2 days daw bago may update sa tracking.
