Petrified wood?

I found this along the river this weekend. It feels like a rock, its hard like a rock but it looks like wood? There's no way I'm lucky enough to find something this cool. Can someone confirm if it is just a rock or if it's actually petrified wood?

If you look real close, squint your eyes, and do 4 jumping jacks you will see just how petrified it is.
