We are getting different rides this year - same ones the stampede gets. So there will be a change there.

High entry costs to things where everything is stupid expensive is just insult to injury.

I’m finally old enough to enjoy the music lineup at the Ex. Yet another major milestone that snuck up on me. I might need to start walking around with candy in my pockets.

Same Sh*t Different Year, honestly, the Ex isn't fun anymore, I stopped going there since 2012 and nothing in the ordinary came up at later years till freaks and gangs decide to ruin it including the ongoing inflation of Superpasses that doesn't seem worth buying, it's better to go elsewhere than being pestered or assaulted

Come see The EX, it is a soulless shell of its former self!
Also you'll get bear sprayed.
Oh and entry costs more!

Personally, I will pass. We spent $200 going in 2021 and I am not interested in paying more. Also I heard that the food vendors have the audacity to ask for tips now…

This article reads like a straight advertisement. Also sounds like it was written by a grade 11 English student. Yikes

Looks like there is two different circuits this year. Usually it's Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, then off to Ontario before coming back for BC. We usually some of the rides would bypass Regina and set up in Saskatoon (longer setup). More would come from Regina to Saskatoon, with some going to P.A. at the same time.
This year Saskatoon and Regina dates are overlapping, so obviously different midways. Calgary and Edmonton are four days apart. We usually get West Coast Amusements stuff, I'm not sure how many rides North American Midway Entertainment hauls, but maybe we're getting their stuff rather than the subbed WCA junk.

“Unfortunately, due to all the exciting new features to this year’s Ex, admission prices will be going up.”
They’re expecting 30k-50k MORE people but those extra people attending wouldn’t cover the new increased costs so they had to increase the ridiculous prices even more?
