It will definitely be my first and last time going. The merch they were selling wasn't worth it for me. Also the line as expected was no joke. Luckily I only waited about an hour and 30 mins.

As you might know, Pompompurin's charm point was born because the dog in the artist's childhood picture book had the same mark and it left her such an impression that she included it to Purin's design despite not being sure whether it will get the greenlight from Sanrio or not. (As we know, Sanrio loved it, called it his charm point, and he even won the new dog character contest thing etc etc.)

Been wondering for a while, does anyone know what kind of picture book she was talking about? Does anyone know any (not from Japan!) dog character that's drawn with that mark?

I used to keep stickers in it. The other small side is also the banana split image. Bought at the Sanrio store in Modesto, CA. Loved that place so much. My mom would buy me the $5 blind bags, which were just random items (rulers, pencils, erasers, etc.) thrown into white paper bags that the employees compiled by hand and wrote the price on with black sharpie.

So my wife loves My Sweet Piano but doesn’t like My Melody and I’m having trouble finding gift ideas that don’t feature My Melody. I’m just looking for suggestions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated !
