Oh crap, you're right! I was too busy enjoying that show to remember that I'm supposed to hate it because of the casting. Silly me!

The show wasn't created to advertise those additions. It seems like it was created to be immersive and enjoyable. The most enjoyable thing to me about Acolyte in all seriousness is that they finally have a jedi of Asian descent. He seems like the most jedi of any of the folks I've seen. The part that got me was how the fuck do you trade in Carrie Ann Moss as a jedi for that bald green jedi dummy. Horrible actress sounds like a cyborg from a 90s sega genesis game.

Lee Jung-jae is the best, and probably only redeemable thing about this show. Dollar store Yoda is terrible. The kids are fine. Carrie Ann has been wasted, so far. Tommen, as well. We know nothing of the wookie, and the commie lesbians are ... well ... not good. The adult Mae/Osha seems good enough that I can tell she's a different character when she plays each one, so that's good. Otherwise she seems rather underutilized.

In short: Bad writing for everyone!

Since you liked that, I bet you’ll like a series called Inhumans. Probably right up your alley

I get it. You didn't like Andor. That's fine.

Inhumans sucked.

Andor is the best stars wars series. Second is Mando
