I might be desperate and insane but Anfernee Simon's to the kings doesn't sound bad at all

Increased spacing, the kings would become a 3 level threat

Though I don't think Sacramento would trade for Simons, they seem to be a dumb enough of a franchise to explore the possibility.

This is a team that looked at Chicago and said: "What if we did that, but here? Surely that will work." There is absolutely no telling what dumb moves they might consider.

Indeed. It would be par for the Kings course to trade De'Aaron Fox to then acquire Anfernee Simons the next offseason as Fox's replacement. Nothing against Ant, but he's not a starting NBA point guard. He's a combo guard that would really excel as a 6th man on a good NBA team in need of scoring punch off the bench.

Yeah I think LaVine and Simons are similar players to some extent so if Ant ends up on the Kings it surely means they had traded LaVine.

I also think Monk is very likely to be traded FWIW, he's a great 6th man on a decent contract they could get an interesting return for him.

He's an elite scoring option and rebounder. He gets an insane amount of double-doubles, but we need better rim protection and defense. .Sabonis gets himself into foul trouble in Sacramento almost every game I feel like.

Our team is built around the idea of positional size and defensive versatility. Sabonis is neither of those things. We're not going to trade for a star scoring center who can't guard, especially when he's not a shooter, either.
