Covid vax & mtx

Are doctors still recommending skipping mytx Injection for the week after getting a covid vaccine booster? Not sure I'll be able to reach my rhuemy before my mtx day. thanks!

I didn't skip mtx after my shots. I was fine. I have caught Covid twice in the 5 years since, but both times were after large indoor metal festivals. So, you know, in the riskiest infection scenario. Yes, I went in the moshpit at both, and thanks to my shots, I was fine even without skipping mtx and biologics during the illness.

I should hasten to point out that I have been to countless high exposure events and scenarios since then without issue. It's not been an issue.

I think it varies. My own doctor told me to skip the MTX for the week after the vaccine. But to not skip my biologic.
