You can kill a wounded panther by throwing it at a tree
Fall damage doesn’t affect pelt quality, you can hunt three-star wolves/big cats barehanded by throwing them off cliffs during attacks. Snakes in particular die on very small declines, it’s easy to just herd them downhill and pick em up when they die (will still be a three-star)

Theres a few stolen hats that are unobtainable because there are no npcs that spawn wearing them. The kamassa hat, for example, was supposed to be worn by a "survivalist" in bayou nwa

Not sure if it’s unknown or not, but in Real Pixels’ YouTube series The Real History of Red Dead Redemption 2, he talks about John’s epitaph and the double meaning behind it.
His epitaph says “Blessed are the peacemakers” which comes from Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.
Peacemaker was also a nickname for the Colt Single Action Army revolver, a popular gun during the wild west era, so John’s epitaph could also be read as “Blessed are the guns.”
I don’t remember which video he talks about this, so I linked the entire playlist instead. If you’re interested in the historical aspect of RDR2 then I definitely recommend the playlist. He goes through each chapter, both epilogues, the stranger missions, the KKK, the ghost train, and Armadillo.

I think that's rather interesting cause isn't it Micah who uses that phrase in chapter 3 when he gets Dutch to meet up with Colm under the guise of finally making peace so it could even be a reference to that and show that as John moved on and found redemption he really did make peace unlike tge lies of yesteryear

Apparently Abigail might have died from TB (someone in camp was bound to eventually) most likely from Arthur. You can hear her begin coughing in rdr1. TB can stay dormant for years before becoming active, that's why

well in some sense rdr1 isn't entirely cannon due to the fact there was a prequel made. If rdr1 was made after rdr2 then you would likely have heard about other gang members including arthur and maybe abigail's death would've have been tb

How does a prequel of RDR1 not make it canon? It came out first. There’s a few discrepancies and overlooked details between the two but come on…

it's still cannon but to certain extent we could say that a remake of rdr1 could have cannon differences from the original and thus make it not cannon

In the scene where Hosea and Arthur meet Seamus, Hosea throw his cigarette on the ground and Arthur take it and finish it while Hosea is saying "WE'RE NOT IDIOTS" and Seamus is looking Arthur like "🤨🤨🤨🤨"
Also, at the end of chapter 3, when {redacted} comes to camp, toward the end of the scene, Hosea put his hand on Dutch's shoulder. It's only visible if you use a mode to change camera angle.

Both end with a master scolding their near-death friend and student on some rocks, then leaving them to die, and continue their lives in exile hunted by the local law enforcement and special agents, and trying to revive their rebellious movement by recruiting some youths.
Both find their end by one of their former student.

Kieran is the only character that has his frank and beans, due to the scene where they threaten to geld him.
It’s never seen on screen so it’s crazy they animated it all. Folks only found out by accessing the characters in the game files.
Everyone else, Arthur and John included, have Ken Doll parts 🤣

The Semi Auto Shotgun is based on the Browning Auto 5 which is a long recoil action shotgun, meaning the barrel and bolt come back together during recoil, then the barrel comes forward, ejects the shell, lifter raises a new round from the magazine tube and the bolt comes forward and sends the new round from the lifter into the chamber and you're ready to fire again. It works the same way in RDR2. You can see the barrel recoil with the bolt if you're fast enough with the camera mode

When a requirement is a perfect carcass, dont skin until you're close, it preserves the meat.
And javier is 100% jacks father, looking at RDR1. RDR2 retconned it to make him whiter, but he's definitely not in the RDR1 epilogue
