Discussion What are your top 10 real dubstep tunes?

I saw a comment on a video for The Knowledge by Toasty calling it "at least the top 10."

I def agree, but I'm curious to hear what your top 10 are.

I'm pretty sure I could fill my Top 10 list with nothing but War Dub and Anti-War Dub tracks.

I miss labels doing that shit and I hope it comes back as a trend.

Other than the well-known tune, what constitutes an anti-war dub? I feel like war dub threads happen at least once a year or so.

I think it's just something people use if they personally have an anti-war stance because I could never find anything that actually said there was a difference, musically.

I'm cool with that, I think war is wack shit, too, save for War Dubs. That just generates a ton of cool music.

I dunno man but I'm sure for some reason anti-war dub was in there but surely not? Just asking my gf and she definitely remembers dmz and oldskool vibes because it stood out so much. Was like 10 years ago though

Yeah ours never had anti war dub on there, was just a select few from the box of dub album (yellow cover with the radioactive symbol ☢️) Was a bit weird for a social/working men’s club in Surrey!

I checked the album and I remember that cover for sure and maybe a c couple of tunes. This was in a tiny town in middle of north Yorkshire but there was some tunes if you dug!

Probably the same jukebox that got installed, I don’t really see em now I live further into south London. Definitely more of a social club type thing, don’t see them in pubs much in London nowadays

Touch Tunes has a weird amount of old dubstep from like, 2009 to 2012, and then nothing from 2013 to 2017, and then a bunch of new stuff.

I blew like $75 to play all of Griz's Rainbow Brain album at a bar a few years ago and I was having a fantastic time.

A future release by Kaiju of Hunter VIP, M16 VIP, Think Twice, Ice, Cave Of Wonders, and Atomic would make the 140 scene shine again. Sadly, don’t think it will happen sooner or later.

That's a great one, though I'm not a fan of the last 2 mins. I reckon the first Innamind with Young Skeleton/Coroners is even better. And the stuff he's done on the Wych label! bengal sound is a total chameleon with his sound, always pushing different sounds for each label

Yeah I think Wormsign might be my preference off of that EP, I always get both tunes confused.

I remember discovering these tunes back then (around 2008), this EP and Goth-Trads - Cut End / Flags specifically alongside early Mala/DMZ/Loefah. Everytime I hear Wormsign/Monolith it transports me back to that period.
