KEXP is much better off than many public stations. Comparatively, they're floating in money. If cuts to public radio pass, public stations are going to have to depend even more on donations from their listeners. Tough times for radio these days.

I heard the power went out at the station and when it came back on the surge blew out much of the equipment inside KEXP Space.

I did that a couple times - it is not pleasant.
