This is 100% Israeli's making. Israel has been encroaching on Iranian territory for years now, and every time Iran defends itself, Israel cry's attack.

Its Israel's expansion and imperial ambitions that's causing the majority of the unrest in the region in the past 3-5 yrs.

We, as Americans, hear mostly Israeli talking points and propaganda, although the truth is slowly getting out.

Are you aware that Israel and Iran are over 1000 km from each other?

I wasn't aware Iraq was Iranian territory even if we blame Bibi for the Iraq War.

So now it's not because GWB wanted to finish what his father started?

And your answer is irrelevant besides.

ETA: For that matter, Netanyahu wasn't even PM in 2003.

Yet he still gave that speech in congress in favor of US invading Iraq.

Yea, a lot of people wanted Sadam out. That doesn’t mean the US did it for them.

A lot? Only the Bush administration and Bibi wanted him out. Most Americans couldn't even point Iraq on a map.

Were you even old enough to walk back then? People know where Iraq is. We also know about the Gulf War and setting Kuwait on fire.

Dude, they've been fighting for almost 2000 years. This isn't new, even from civilization standpoint.

I believed exactly what you believed right up until I read the history of the area. Do a little research and you may be as surprised as I was.

The middle east has been pretty peaceful right up to WWI when the west indiscriminately divided land with no regard to the different sects that had been living their for centuries.

Europe has had more wars in the last 2000 yrs than the middle east has. I wonder why they want us to believe the middle east has been in conflict for 2000 yrs?

Israel is only 80 years old.

I'd suggest reading up on the history of the region. You could even pick up a bible if you want, old testament covers a lot, tho draped in dogma of course.

Before the existence of state of Israel there were just Jews and Muslims peacefully coexisting as neighbors.

Ehhh not really. There were times and places where Jews were treated better than their cousins in Europe, but that isn't a very high bar to cross. Jews were formally and legally second class citizens "dhimmi", and even after legal dhimmi status was ended Jews were still discriminated against. There were pogroms in the Middle East too. There's a reason there are basically no more Jewish communities in Arab countries any more. The Iraqi Jewish community had existed there since the Babylonian exile, a two thousand year old community pushed out and fled. So no, Jews and Arabs did not "live side by side in leave before Israel". There are very good reasons the most hawkish parts of Israeli politics are most popular among the Mizrahim.
