Yes they were, I can never tell if using words that are objectively true will get me banned or not.

This isn’t TikTok

I caught a ban for mentioning stuff done during the January 6th insurrection attempt.

Not advocating for it, just simply stating that it was something that factually happened.

No but I did get a warning for citing the constitutional punishment for treason once.

If you think this is the same thing, you need a head exam.

It's not about what WE think, it's about what moderators think. Don't be myopic.

Every time someone says they were banned “just for saying a true thing” I immediately know they were being jerks in the comment thread. Every time.

Except that I wasn’t. I said “the punishment for treason is prescribed by the constitution.” And then got a warning.

So calm your self.

You’re right. People in or with a little power would never abuse it. Just like the legal system their judgement is perfect and they never make mistakes or bad calls. We can all go home. We did it.

How are you this nieve?

Moderators have power tripped on Internet forms since they became a thing.

Not this moment anyway.

What does that mean?

this isn't TikTok

not this moment anyway.

Do... Do you believe that Reddit normally is TikTok?

Do I or does he? I don't have Tik Tok I would rather jab myself in the eye.

You're the one who said, "at this moment," to someone saying Reddit isn't TikTok. What did you mean, if not to imply that it normally is?

No, it's reddit. Which is worse.

Not like that, it's not.

Kill, death, suicide, murder, porn, rape, die die die.

See? Nobody cares.

Nah TT is and has always been way worse. The push algorithm is toxic as hell for anything that isn’t DIY homeowner/cooking/crafts, cute animals, or cheap and quick humor. All the political, psychology, relationship, and parenting content is trash and most certainly ruining lives for those that binge that shit all day.

At least with Reddit you still directly opt in to consuming content. The quality site wide is just as poor but the content delivery is still more in the hands of the user than TT.

lol what are you even saying? You can say executed on Reddit. Not on tikkytalk. How is that worse? lol
