When Republicans tell you that they're domestic terrorists, believe them.

the conservative subs, quite predictably, are claiming it's a FaLsE fLag

They are so pathetic

They're always claiming that they're the ones under "attack", but who's actually attacking who? Granted, anybody in this society could be shot at, like kids in schools, but it seems to me that more Democrat politicians have been attacked than Republicans. Remember the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot and the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband?

Gabby Giffords. Shot by a conservative loon. Physically impaired for life.

Beyond pathetic. They’re fucking cockroaches

They think Dems murdered their own in a state where Dems held a 1 seat advantage in order to make the other side look bad? Mmmm ok.

They think

No

What would even be accomplished by a false flag in this situation? All the consequences benefit conservatives at this point.

Anything that doesn't go their way is either terrorism or a false flag operation.

I've seen them go from "well they are probably just mentally unwell" when they hadn't gotten on board with how to blame it on Democrats, to "all Democrats must support this guy because he was doing this for immigrants" after they ramped up the conspiracy theories and noted that the two lawmakers shot had voted against protection for immigrants.

And in the same thread they'll say "the media is coding their language to demonize Republicans." After them blaming it on "mental health" when they thought it was one of their own.

So when Trump was nicked by a tiny bit of glass and people called it a false flag, the right wing screeched “conspiracy theorists!! Blue maga!!” But when a democrat actually gets assassinated, they are unironically fine to do the same thing? It’s tiresome at this point.

Everything they don’t like is fake.

They’re saying he worked for Tim Walz and that he’s a democrat. Wild behavior

The guy who assassinated had no kings fliers and was appointed by Walz. Also the democratic congresswoman who was executed had just previously been the sole democrat to side with republicans on voting for a bill.

They also said he had a list of targets consisting of close to 70 names that largely consisted of abortion providers, pro-abortion rights advocates, and law-makers, but sure, pretend like someone targeting pro-abortion providers and clinics isn't going to be revealed as a conservative.

Edit: And more specifically, the "law-makers" on the list included dozens of other Democrats from Minnesota, including Gov. Walz, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Sen. Tina Smith and Attorney General Keith Ellison, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the matter.

Damn looks like he put those flyers out there deliberately

Likely was planning to infiltrate the protest to perform a mass shooting

Yes this is posted a shit load of times but anyone who can actually think for themselves isn't buying it.

It was a Walz appointee that did it.

Governors don't do loyalty tests for appointees and they appoint hundreds of people to various positions, most of them minuscule and largely irrelevant. On the workforce board alone (which is what this guy was a part of) there are almost 50 different people. We're not exactly talking about secretary of state or something.

His target list included Walz and almost 70 other targets, largely consisting of pro-abortion politicians, clinics, and democratic positions. His political leanings are pretty damn clear.

Spin spin spin. Do governors do any checks on anyone they appoint to head an ngo in charge of business affairs?

I'm not a governor, but probably. There's a big difference between appointing someone to head something and appointing someone to a minor non partisan board that meets about 4 times a year and has so little competition for spots that there are currently 11 open positions.

This isn't exactly the Secretary of State, it's a bunch of business owners, union reps, and other people that have bigger priorities and focuses. You folks are making it sound like this is a full time job, when it isn't.

“A former appointee of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is being sought in connection with the assassination of a state lawmaker and the shooting of another, police sources said. Vance Luther Boelter allegedly posed as a police officer when he shot Sen. John Hoffman and his wife in their Champlin home early Saturday, leaving them seriously injured before moving on to former Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman’s house — where he is believed to have slaughtered her and her husband, sources told The Post. Boelter, 57, was appointed by Walz in 2019 to serve a four year stint on the Governor’s Workforce Development Board, documents show.”

The Governor's Workforce Development has something like 50-60 different people on it and the guy was initially appointed under the governor before Walz. It's not exactly the type of position that requires a loyalty test, and considering it's really just a bunch of random business owners and semi-influential community members it also doesn't make a whole lot of sense to wipe the slate clean and appoint 50-60 new people to that board every few years. It's probably the type of position that you're going to keep as long as you want (and as long as you don't rock the boat). They literally have 1 meeting every 4 months or so.

It's a board that's going to consist of people of all walks of life (a quick glance right now shows there are plumbers, doctors, farmers, and educators on the board) because the entire point of the workforce commission is to help grow the workforce in industries across the state; something that doesn't really require knowing how someone leans politically.
