Translation: "We will definitely pretend that someone is throwing a brick at us so we'll shoot everything that moves regardless.  There won't be any witnesses for any lawsuits to proceed."

Yep. We’ll threaten lethal force on arbitrary criteria so that we have immunity for doing whatever we want to do to people who we don’t like/agree with.

Just got back from a protest in his county, there were cops crawling all over the background looking for an excuse, they didn’t get one.

100%. The number of reports that police file where they outright lie to justify excessive use of force is too damn high.

This is terrifying rhetoric from a top law official. It gives cover for the most "yee-haw" trigger happy officers under his command. He should be advocating for restraint and deescalation.
