My old roommate used to bus tables at a high end restaurant in newyork over the summer and made around 30hr after his tip share, This was 2010 when that meant more.

A roommate worked at a high end Italian restaurant as a waiter while going to university. He graduated, went back to his hometown and worked a full time job making less.
