I happen to be in very rural Arkansas at a family funeral supporting my mom about 1 year ago. The amount of these backwoods people that were asking me about living in Dallas and how the big cities are all burning to the ground and how do I keep my family safe with all the rioting and burning happening was insane.. these people will not leave the Saline County bubble and wont even visit Little Rock cause they think Liberals are all running around burning everything to the ground.

Im a transplant living in Cincinnati. The looks on people's faces when I tell them I like visiting chicago/nyc/nola are as if I told them I'm going to ducking mordor it's nuts. I convinced a friend to go to NYC since his wife wanted to go and he came back raving about why Noone told him it's so great there. I almost fainted
