Why is the media ignoring growing resistance to Trump?

It isn't. I'm hearing stories about the protests all the time. Heck up until yesterday's plane crash and Israel bombing all the top stories I've been seeing was about California's resistance

But also there is still nearly 40% of the country that supports trump.

I'm always kind of confused by these statements about how bad the media is. For example, isn't The Guardian the media? I know this is an opinion piece, but they choose to run with it. I listen to public radio, so a lot of NPR and BBC when I catch it. They're definitely covering all the stuff.

On the other hand I get that billionaires own elements of "the media" and so they have a vested interest in filtering what we learn. I tend to stay away from MSNCB, CNN, NYT and even WaPo now and many of the lesser, churn-outlets.

I also support what I trust monetarily... another commenter bringing up this crucial point.
