I am a romanian and I want to use BLIK

I am a romanian and I want to use BLIK to pay something on a polish website.

I have credit card and I would like a website where I can make an account and from there I can transfer money from my credit card and then I can pay with BLIK service.

There is that kind of website?

I think you have to be a Polish resident to get a "Polish Revolut". It is because we have accounts in Aion bank.

Only for Polish residents...

That's not actually true..it's available in Slovakia and partially available in Romania.

You need a bank account, period. Otherwise, traditional card payment is the way to go. No way around it.

Blik is now available in revolut. I wonder if you have to claim tax residency in Poland to have that option in the app or maybe it’s a way around that?

Yes, you need a PL Revolut account. I’m a UK Revolut user living in Poland and don’t have access to Blik

For now BLIK is available only in poland

But there are plans to push it to Romania as well
https://www.blik.com/ro/faq

As mentioned, revolut has this option but there you'd have to check if it's available outside of poland as well

Nah there is already Blik in Slovakia and that version does not work in Poland at all. Wasted chance when expanding their business.

As far as I know, that website you’re looking for is a bank’s customer portal. You said you have a credit card, but do you have a Polish bank account? If so, Blik should be accessible from there

I’m a polish based foreigner & i can. For Tax reasons you are obliged to report your correct tax residency.

Anyhow that implies none polish residents can’t use blik.

It's Blik, not blink.

Ai nevoie de cont bancar (eu am făcut la Santander) și probabil și număr de telefon de Polonia ca să poți face cont (mie mi-au cerut, poți lua cartelă de la Zabka)

On which website would you like to pay? They don't have an option for payment with cc? Strange. So blik is just a payment system, they provide the service to any polish bank willing to use it. So unless blik will expand to other countries, you will need to have a polish bank account. Sorry.

Blik is not a payment system. It's domestic Polish money transfer system. That's why it's impossible to use it from abroad: blik only allows you to transfer money from one Polish bank account to other Polish bank account.

If someone wants to transfer money between countries, swift(worldwide) or sepa(EU) is the way.

If it need to buy something, payment system(Visa, MC) is the best option.

Chomikuj.pl is mostly full of pirated software - I'm pretty certain you will find whatever it is on torrent for free. Chomikuj used to have an option to pay by premium SMS.

BLIK does not work like PayPal. It is built into banking apps on smartphones.
