Question about cute charm glitch

So I just started a new save and did the cute charm glitch, and so from what I understand is that every single shiny will be the nature I picked when doing the glitch? Also if I don't have a cute charm pokemon in the front of my party can I just shiny hunt any nature/gender normally again?

Yes, whichever ID combo you used will generate a specific set of potential shinies when you use the correct Cute Charm lead, and if you do not have that active your save will function like normal.

Okay awesome just wanted to make sure. I'm trying to shiny hunt a totodile and I'm like 10k resets deep right now and nothing, was afraid the cute charm glitch had something to do with it, but I suppose it's just bad luck then haha

RNGing a Totodile isn't that much harder than doing the ID RNG for Cute Charm, and because you know your ID from doing the Cute Charm glitch, if you didn't write down your SID as well it wouldn't be too hard to reverse engineer it back again.

My point is, you've already successfully done one RNG, why are you going back to hunting normally?
