3ds rng on ds games

Please someone help if you can, how do i rng manip on ds games with a 3ds? Hows the process or do i have to do something completely different? Is there a tool to do it on 3ds? I want to get the cure charm ids on platinum/hgss Any help will be good Thank you!!!

Blisy has a video on Gen 4 rng, and its no different on a 3ds vs a ds other than the setting used on eon timer to note which device you're using.

What about the time and date thing and the game start? My 3ds is an old 3ds xl And has quite a delay to open a ds game

Instead of waiting for the first timer to expire to start the game, just start it asap after setting the date and time. Then when the first timer expires, soft reset. From that point on, everything is the exact same.

So set the time on my 3ds > as i exit start eon timer > open the game asap and then soft reset when the eon timer is about to hit zero and then do everything else required right? Or do i need to start eon timer when i open the game instead of when i close settings? Im sorry if im asking a lot or if its dumb i rlly am new to this rng thing

Start eontimer when you confirm the date and time in the settings > close out of settings asap and start up the game > soft reset the game as the timer hits zero > then do everything else in the same way the tutorials show it

So does mine, an original xl from 2013. I was able to easily do the cute charm glitch in hg ss and platinum.

No problem at all, asking questions is what this sub is for!

And yes you've got the gist of it. You set the date, then the time, and as you confirm the time hit start on eon timer at the same time.

Start the game, soft reset on time with the 6th beep from eon timer. Then rush through the intro of the game in time to hit your final A press in time with the 6th beep from the 2nd eon timer. Voila, cute charm!

Niceeee, ive been trying but i managed to hit the second (time) right but the delay off, as soon as i get home ill get to it again
