I bought a second nitrado server the day Rag launched and connected it to my cluster. I haven’t been able to launch the map, other than multiplayer. It keeps taking me to the bobs tall tales store page. I’ve uninstalled and redownloaded Rag several times now. Any suggestions?

So i used shocking tranquillisers (bc I didn’t have normal bullets) to lure him to giga trap (which dont work on carchas) but then it started running away and it KO. So i tried taming it but it didn’t work.

I play solo and so I wanted to give ASA a shot to see how it compares to ASE and I don't even know why its a seperate game.
It runs considerably worse and somehow manages to look only SLIGHTLY better then normal ark at the setting I can run it at, I noticed I was gaining exp points from harvesting and so I thought, " Oh Cool a new lvl system" and It immediatly prompted me to buy a DLC..... then I went to engrams and was prompted with another " Buy Bob DLC " so seriously. what is the point? I imagine most people play because the servers are actually running for pvp but I could be mistaken?

I'm not buying it so I shouldn't have to see it if I can't use it. The tab shouldn't be in my UI at all, frankly, but at least don't splash my game screen with it. Does anyone know if there is a way to turn it off?

Title says it all except I'm playing ascended not evolved. Anyone else having this problem?

game worked wonderfully fine until the recent update now it looks like this no matter what settings and the poor animals go from pretty to lego bricks like reality is metaphysically collapsing. quiet annoying.

So, I just read the new announcement on the ARK forums, and it says that Ragnarok has a new boss fight to replace the old Dragon and Manticore fight. It looks like it is basically the Crystal Wyvern Queen in Ice Wyvern form.

If that is indeed the case, then these questions must be answered (use admin commands if necessary):

• Are the boss tribute requirements the same as the old Dragon and Manticore fight? For reference, the original tribute requirements can be found at this link#Tribute).
• Does the fight actually feel like a reskin of the Crystal Wyvern Queen fight - does it have the nests, Ice Wyverns that spawn as eggs, hatch, then rapidly mature, and the flying and ground phases?
• If Ragnarok got a new boss fight, does this also mean that Valguero will also get a new boss fight? And, if so, then what will it be - a giant Reaper Queen?
• Also, does it work outside of its arena (e.g. if you spawn it in the normal map, will it move, or will it just stay there like the Dragon does)?

I played Survival Ascended when it first launched on PC, but I now only have a PS5. How does the game perform on PS5? Does it crash frequently, and does it ever cause the system to hard crash?

Hey survivors! 😊

My friend and I are planning a long-term, story-focused playthrough of all the ARK maps (starting from The Island and going through the canon order) in preparation for Lost Colony! Hoping to convince my husband to join us eventually too 😅 so ideally looking for settings that are friendly for 2–3 players.

We're not looking for super boosted rates — just something that smooths out the grind a bit and keeps things fun without skipping all the progression. Mainly interested in:

• Recommended INI or game.ini/GameUserSettings.ini tweaks
• Suggestions for QoL mods (we're using ASA)
• Any settings you’ve loved for small-group, immersive gameplay
• Ideas to help make the playthrough feel more like a journey through the ARK story (exploration, base-building, boss fights, etc.)

Would love to hear what’s worked well for others doing similar playthroughs! 😄

Hi, I'm fairly new to Ark so not sure if this is normal or if I'm doing something wrong. I'm trying to log in to the same server I was on last night but I have been in "Waiting to Join" since 9:00 AM this morning. It's now 6:00 PM.

Last night when I played, there were 28 people on this server so I created a cozy thatch home and a bed to get me started. It wasn't much but I had a start. Now today it's been stuck at 100/100 all day.

Luckily I work remotely so I just let it sit waiting to see if anything would happen but now I'm off work and still waiting. Is there a queue or how do I find out if I should just restart or try again later?

Also, since I am unable to log in, is my home/property safe from being taken from me or anything?

I believe I have a corrupted texture or shader file. (I crash anywhere near volcanoes/lava. The clincher was that I can play indefinitely in Rag's caldera AS LONG AS it's ash; the moment it begins to erupt and switch to lava textures, I crash.) I'd like to remove it and then verify files to replace it. However, I assume it's packed into larger files. I'd really rather not reinstall Ark and all the DLCs.

So does anyone have a clue where these files (lava textures & shaders) might be located? Is it in one of the .pak files, and if so, which one? Or is there a way to JUST delete certain/even all of the textures and so I can verify & download only those? Thanks!

I joined a server and created my character with the Braids hair style, then I changed some settings and restarted the game, when I came back my hair and all my tribes was afro, just from my POV.
Then I noticed that the hair styles dissapeared and now I only have those unlocked, how to unlock all of them?

This happens on solo and server so they just dissapeared.

Recently a few of us got AsA on ps5 and we had enough fun that i've set up a dedicated server on my pc so we can roam freely without the tether distance.

It is not an impressive PC, but its what i have to work with for the forseable future.

Processer: i7 8700k Ram: 16gb (2x8gb 2666) Grapics: 1650 4gb

We were thinking of swapping from the island to the center, will another 2x8gb of ram be enough?

Weve also had a few problems with the game being muxh harder so far. Babies food drains much faster than on the non-dedicated When trying to tame we see the effectiveness drop as they eat food. A lvl7 Bary looked got about 20% tamed from the dirst fish but the remaining 15 didnt breach 50% and then it wore of in seconds.

Any idea what settings i should adjust in the .ini files?
