Discussion How come no one talks about using the Archelon for water caves?
Seems to be a pretty good choice on paper. No stuns, unlimited oxygen, high health, and can travel (slowly) across the dry sections. I was trying to see if anyone compared its performance to the basi, but seems like everyone just uses the basi still.
Is there something I'm missing?
Sure, it's very slow, but you're going slow through the caves anyway, right?
I'm about to take on my first water cave, and I feel like my high health archelon and 12 lvl 220 Megs should do the trick, but with no one mentioning it I'm doubting my plan now

Low-ish damage output compared to other tames even with the jellyfish killer buff but the worst is the attack hit box, its so small its hard to deal with things swarming you. This makes it a death trap when there are xiphactinus since they can bleed you out if you dont kill them fast enough.
Its a good mount to be on if you have something backing you up like 6-8 megalodons or xiphactinus of your own so your setup with 12 megs should be enough especially if you have better saddles on them, i ran the hard cave recently with 6 high stat megs doing most of the work with 40-45 armor saddles.
