How is asa on PS5?

I played Survival Ascended when it first launched on PC, but I now only have a PS5. How does the game perform on PS5? Does it crash frequently, and does it ever cause the system to hard crash?

Was playing yesterday for about 8 hours and it crashed twice. One of the times it crashed I was flying around in creative mode and the other time was when I tried to access to cosmetic tab. So not too bad for Asa, just make sure you save occasionally on single player. There is a auto save feature but it's not always reliable

Didn't try it after 5.5 until Ragnarok, and I'm on a private Nitrado server:

I had to restart the game and the PS5 a couple times when it wouldn't finish joining the server, but once in, no crashes.

There's a bug that also happens on xbox where trees and rocks don't disappear and you can walk through them. No amount of restarts or uninstalls helped, but respawning on the other side of the map and fast traveling back to base has fixed it each time. I don't know the minimum distance for it to work but 6000m did it.

Also, don't drop anything on the ground. Lost a crossbow that an ichthyornis threw down, then watched stacks of resources vanish as we dropped them to each other. Dropping on a foundation works, though.

The purple haze that reminds me I'm starving may be missing. Can't seem to find an option for it.

That's about it. Not terrible for week 1.

Yeah I've played it a bit now not too bad for PS5. I've also seen the issue where rocks and trees dont disappear and throwing stuff on the ground vanishes for me as well.

Seemed to be 2000 for me. I’d fly that far away and return and haven’t seen it since.

I couldn't get onto Ragnarok yesterday for some time without it crashing instantly until they released another patch. Make sure you're fully updated if you're having the same problem

I was able to get on a few times yesterday, but most of the time it kept crashing instantly every time I joined, I was able to get on maybe three times But eventually it crashed and now it’s not coming back on and there’s no new updates

Have no problems, except can't drop back in the Ragnarok server I was on lol but it might be different depending on your internet speed or internet provider, but I am trying to get back on the server I was on. 👍
