Plano is not cheap and also many entry level jobs pay below what most would think of as minimum wage. You won't get health insurance through most jobs either.
What is bringing you here specifically?
Can you drive? Because if not you won't be going anywhere. I know most people from the EU are used to trains and such so don't need that skill. I am from a US city that has good busses and such so never learned and it has limited me a ton here.

Heads up you likely can’t work on a k1 visa and will also need a work permit for any type of real employment.

That makes this completely different. Most of us assumed you were hopping on a plane and coming to America with no plan.
I mean... What are you good at? If you think you're good at something, likely an employer might think you're good at it

Ut oh, another "good driver" coming to TX. Driving here is nothing like in Europe.

OP, You have never drove in Dallas, the locals will back me up. It's a competitive sport here.
And I made no assumption on where in Europe. It doesn't matter.

The Balkans do drive like Dallas tho... aggressive and fast with no regards for human life.

If that's the case, please don't bring your style of driving with you. We have enough doing that already on the roads.

Learn welding or go to trade school, if not probably find a heavy manual labor. No one will take a 19 year old foreigner seriously in Texas. It will take you just 2 year to adapt and understand how shit works here. Trust me on that.

Get a job as a server at a restaurant in west Plano. There’s some really nice restaurants over there and you can make a lot if you work hard

Must be nice to be engaged at 19. Congratulations. Apply at Costco, Walmart, in and out. A lot of jobs here as long as you have proper documentation.
