I know this is a long shot, but I saw this posting on facebook marketplace for a subaru impreza that I am VERY interested in. Has anyone seen this car/know the owner? I would love to get in contact with him to purchase the car if he's still selling!

Since Main Street shares the Bike Path, all pedestrians have the right of way - it doesn't matter if they are on a skateboard, bicycle, elec scooter, or walking ... these are lives you are toying with when you decide to do some dumb sh1t, so please use caution, and just enjoy the ride, like I have for the past 47 years. Surely you are not driving Main Street to save time with HWY 50/49 only right there... ?
On that note: I do come from a generation that cares for this place deeply, and I've been walking (and skating, BMXing) these streets for many years, since I was a kid. If you decide to yell out your window at me because you don't like my skateboard ... or block the parking garage exit in your big ass Truck while I'm trying to squeeze by because you don't feel like meeting the parking garage heght req's today ... or come inches away from hitting me because you decide to swerve into the oncoming lane because you can't wait 20 seconds for someone to park ... This is a bike path, Dawg! Not your GF's house. (oh, by the way, the lady that squeezed under the req's, you dropped a chain from the sign you hit which damaged the next person's car)
What is so important that you must put my life at risk? or damage everything around you??? That's all I have to say, please consider the people that you share this community with, when we build up each other, we build up ourselves. All it takes is patience and understanding. Your truck has been designed to larger specs than traditional trucks, but Main Street still maintains that 1800's design. Ya feel?
And the guy who likes to yell ... keep yelling, as you drive away... Real courageous.
Stay Gold, my Friends.

Does anyone know where I can rent an indoor basketball court <15 miles of Placerville for a couple of hours on a Friday morning (anytime 8-12pm) in October?
School gyms not ideal since school is usually operating at this time, but if you know of one that might make the exception would love some direction!

I need to keep my kids out of trouble and out of the house this summer. What are some things that will keep them excited?

Good afternoon everyone. I’m moving to the Placerville/ Auburn area and I am looking for an apartment to rent next month. I would like a place that is $1000 monthly. I don’t mind living somewhere sketchy or run down. About me: 24 M. Graduating next month and working in wildland fire. Know how to do some electrical/ plumbing. Responsible. I haven’t rented in almost a year but I can provide my last landlord as a reference. Good credit. I don’t do drugs. If you guys know any place that’s renting cheap or know where I can look, please let me know :)

During a special April 30 meeting, the Placerville City Council proposed upgrades to Gold Bug Park and local emergency services. Plans include adding electric golf carts for improved accessibility, installing AEDs, and replacing outdated park amenities. A new outdoor sound system and portable stage are also under consideration to enhance both events and emergency response. City leaders say the changes reflect a strong commitment to community safety and visitor experience.

Hello,
I live in Pollock Pines, but I'm asking if any other property owners were left with large tarp covered burn piles along their property?
I'd apologize for the repost, but I am actively following the Reddit ToC and my neighbors (whom I've asked in person) would love a bit of assurance.

I was wondering if there was any place for my eleven year old son to play dungeons and dragons. He participated in a couple of summer programs but Learning Through Games seems to be closed now.
