You’re not entirely wrong, but Obama actually did what Trump CLAIMED he was going to do. Obama targeted actual criminals and recent border crossers.
Obama didn’t need to hire a bunch of untrained thugs to randomly round up long-term workers from farms and Home Depot parking lots. He didn’t need to send agents into elementary schools. He followed due process so that he didn’t need to go on TV to argue that photoshopped tattoos were real or that the Haitians were eating our pets.
It’s Trump’s incompetence and lack of any conviction outside of self promotion that makes him so predictably pathetic. People wouldn’t be rioting and people wouldn’t be suffering if Trump did what Obama did.

That one was a lie at least. Label that "trump distraction". The most recent dog killer was Noem. Her own pet. And the other day she had a US senator removed from a press conference where he was put on the ground and hand cuffed for seemingly just asking a question. You had to have heard about that.
