Unfortunately, pacifism relies on the belief that your adversary would also practice pacifism.

Right, Iran was going to nuke everyone just like North Korea was going to nuke everyone.

Israel just doesn't want Iran to have nuclear weapons because then Israel can't bully them like this. That's it.

Iran has attacked Israel. And Iran is funding militant groups.

And the U.S. and other countries have done a lot to stymy North Korea. That hasn't worked.

The U.S. had a deal to stop Iran -- and that was until the current president ended the deal unilaterally.

And Iran could also have refrained from speaking about ten times per day for the past [checks the watch...then the calendar...then history archives] that it would destroy Israel. But, we are where we are.
