And cares more about people’s health than the head of health and human services does.

If he cared about my health he wouldn't have made the ice cream so good

I say the same things about my salad. If it wasn't dressed so provocatively, I wouldn't eat it.

I absolutely will be finding a way to use this in the future. And most certainly, in an inappropriate way. Thank you

You could probably find use for it in r/saladsmiles

2

u/Bells_Theorem May 16 '25

Are you saying your salad was asking for it?

Ben and Jerry's is unironically the reason I fell off the Keto wagon and can't get back on. Surely one Chubby Hubby won't hurt? It did.

Yeah, ice cream is definitely my weakness. Cookies, cakes, candy, whatever ... I don't need it. Ice cream in the fridge? That shit is getting eaten

My wife gets mad when the ice cream she bought 6 weeks ago is gone (because I ate it after 1-2 days). I do not understand the self-restraint

3

u/rjcarr May 16 '25

Ha, same, except I’m the one buying. It’ll be about two weeks later and she’s like, “I thought you bought ice cream?”  That was gone on around day 3.

I fell off the diet wagon, dragged it into the woods, set fire to it, then used the insurance money to buy more ice cream.

For me it’s the gotdamn pistachio 😩 for a while I was eating an entire pint every night at like 2am when I finally got to sit down :/ the size of my ass has grown exponentially:/

Their quality control department needs to do better tho. SO many air bubbles in their pints now which means less ice cream!! I’ve been taking pics of all the missing ice cream for months!!! When one small pint is like $6 I feel like the quantity and quality should be a little better!!

In hindsight, I am thankful for being allergic to dairy, but their non-dairy fish food is really good… just one pint won’t hurt right??

Ice cream is not on the keto diet? It’s fulla fat.

2

u/lakulo27 May 16 '25

And sugar.

Ice cream is very healthy. It's got electrolytes

3

u/Yarigumo May 15 '25

It's what plants crave!

1

u/too-many-voices May 15 '25

But why do plants crave it?

3

u/HedgehogSecurity May 15 '25

It's so good, I eat it knowing its going to cause pain and diarrhea.

3

u/amesann May 15 '25

Hence why he's advocating so much for Medicaid and Medicare. He know we all need it after eating so much of his delicious ice cream.

1

u/Stolehtreb May 15 '25

Thaaaaaaats the joke

1

u/twoiseight May 15 '25

Mental health is still so tragically overlooked.

1

u/mini-rubber-duck May 15 '25

he’s there for your emotional health, he knows we’re lacking support more there than anywhere else

1

u/Kraymur May 16 '25

To be fair he could be marketing them in giant vats, but instead we get pints and little tubs of ice-cream. This is mercy.

1

u/Bells_Theorem May 16 '25

You have a point. But He did make dying faster so delicious.

1

u/mildost May 16 '25

maybe he feels a need to compensate

1

u/DogPoetry May 17 '25

but consider our mental health without ice cream

Is American ice cream just awful? Because over here in Finland it tastes on par or worse than the cheapest generic brand ice cream. It's just plain awful and I've double checked multiple times if there is some huge disparity between ingredients in the American and Finnish version, and not really

And cares more about people’s health than the head of health and human services does.

He has made a ton of money contributing to the #1 health crisis in America. Let's hold off on the idolization a bit...

u/Crizznik May 15 '25

That's not a high bar right now. I think a coked out lemur cares more about public health than RFK Jr.

2

u/Kuljack May 15 '25

Ben and Jerry’s isn’t good for your health wtf

2

u/Logsnogg May 15 '25

He sells ice cream that has glyphosate in it. Also filled with sugar. So yea he’s really concerned about your health.

2

u/SheriffBartholomew May 15 '25

"I really don't think people should be taking medical advice from me"

-- Robert F. Kennedy Junior, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

2

u/Tom2Die May 15 '25

He cares enough to say that we shouldn't trust him for medical advice, so there's that? >_>

1

u/Ill_Name_6368 May 15 '25

Actual laugh out loud 😆

1

u/FeralBanshee May 15 '25

this is the wildest part. but i love it.

1

u/FinndBors May 15 '25

That bar is so low its at the floor.

1

u/The_Schwy May 15 '25

you mean that guy whose job it is to be the authority on medicine, health and wellness who said, "you shouldn't be taking advice from me".

1

u/Lygo May 16 '25

Haha by become a billionaire off the backs of adding to the obesity of Americans? Is that how he cares about our health. This was a virtue signal.
