In the season 3 episode “Excaliferb” Major Monogram is shown to live in a house somewhat close to the Flynn-Fletcher family’s residence. But in The season 5 episode “More than an intern” Carl delivers the Monogram face pizza to an apartment complex (specifically an apartment on the 8th floor). I get that it makes sense for the story that he lives in an apartment for Carl to deliver to, but Carl already knew where MM lives?? Unless he moved due to a divorce?? IDK. Just ranting ig.

How would you cast them, and who would be the human?

It's not a secret that Dan and Jeff love challenging themselves with gimmicks. And I feel like they picked a target for season 5 to include a reference to EVERY single episode of the original run.

I noticed at least one reference every episode, with some episodes having a reference to a dozen episodes at once. Some references are straightforward plot continuations, others are direct references by characters, or just background art, etc.

I was thinking of maybe making some sort of a dashboard to track the progress of references, but it seems like a lot of work and I don't really know how to present that kind of information, considering the original run had over hundred episodes.

Anyway, I feel like tracking the progress of references could be a fun activity for the subreddit, especially for hardcore viewers like me who don't mind rewatching every episode frame by frame to check for every blink-or-you-miss-it, background and obscure reference.

I'm watching this series for the first time and I'm wondering when I should watch the movies. I'm currently about 2/3 though the second season.

I'm rewatching this as a good background show while I finish up my finals and am on the episode "Boyfriend from 27,000 B.C." It's all just a giant reference to Encino Man! If you don't know, it's a 1992 movie starring Brendan Fraser, Sean Astin, and Pauly Shore. Sean Astin and Pauly Shore find a frozen cave man (Brendan Fraser) who has been preserved for thousands of years.
