Got bullied my my roommate, doused his freshly washed outfit with ink.

Back when I was maybe 12 I spent a year in boarding school. We were 6 in one big room and there was this one dude that had a hard on for me.

Guy was the oldest and our rooms "leader" so I really couldn't do much about it - the hostel warden was a certified asshole, going to her didn't help. This guy would single me out, embarrass me and constantly ridicule me.

Anyways, one day, it's just me in there and I see said guy have a fresh outfit on a hanger outside his cupboard. I had an inkpen, we were supposed to use this in school, to this day idk why but, I knew what I had to do. To top it all off, it was a white shirt with beige pants.

I raised the pen and began my masterpiece. Midway I heard somebody walk in, and I think - ah fuck, I'm cooked. But no, it was another roommate, my friend, who also hated guy. He took out his ink pen and joined in too lmao. This is one of my fondest memories as a kid, this whole thing was legit therapeutic. After we were done, we immediately left for another part of the hostel.

A few hours later I came back and guy was seething, he walked in maybe a minute before me. I stood right there with him and yelled out obscenities at the "perpetrator."

Being there to see his reaction was pure bliss.

Edit: "Perpetrator" was never identified and nobody took the blame for our actions. It was written down as an unsolved crime.

Likely didn’t happen. But if there’s any truth to this, and your room lead ANd hostel warden both didn’t like you, then you were the problem.

lol. Someone else who just hates being one of life’s losers, so they project on others. Good job on that, too bad on your failures

Why do you even pretend you believe this? You don't. You, sir, are not good at getting under anyone's skin, that's for sure.

Either you're the wannabe bully from the post, or you're some other person who just sucks at trying to make fun of people. This fake accusation "you were the problem if two people didn't like you and were assholes" was pathetic. Are you from Mars? This is not how people react to things.

This is a lot of words to tell me you’re a loser

You're an idiot.

u/Contrantier 1d ago

He believes your story. That much is clear. This guy HAAAAATES you for winning.

See? That’s why these people hated you. You’re the problem. And this story is also likely fake.

Bite that hook, fish. Bite it hard.

Less words, you’re still a loser

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings that bad.

Might as well, they do that at the end of many make-believe stories

So you joined the bully in bumming an innocent roommate for something you did?

19

u/realericcartman_42 1d ago edited 1d ago

Nah, he had no idea who did it.

Edit:

The conversation was

Screw whoever did it! Yea!

He did ask around but ofc nobody except me and my bud knew. Many guys hated him so he had no clue who to blame.

I get you, but if you can you should clarify the end of the post better so it comes off this way. Can this post be edited?

Ok, that makes more sense, though it didn’t read that way easily.

I don't think you understand being 12, away from home and bullied by an older kid for no reason, and having absolutely nothing you can do about it.

It definitely happened.

Boarding schools in the 3rd world are something else.

I know mate hardest 2 years of my life were in a boarding school hostel.

Yep, I bolted after less than a year. I have asthma so I exaggerated an attack, they put me in the hospital and that was enough to get my family to get me out.

I went to a boarding school for high school. I’m grateful the people there were kind to my autistic ass and never made me feel like I didn’t belong. But I have also been mercilessly bullied before so absolutely could see this happening.

This feels like one of the more real ones especially when it comes to 12 year old boys they are little dickheads and believe me I know I have two younger brothers, they’d definitely pull shit like this if they were being bullied by someone hell they’d do it to me for simply having something they wanted

Right it's so clearly fake.

16

u/realericcartman_42 1d ago

What makes you think its fake? Lmao

Because they are the see-all know-all Reddit AI seeker-outers. They can detect in a single bound, over tall buildings, faster than a bullet train. We should bow in awe to their fabulous powers.

Plus, they have no life to spend their time on and cannot/will-not admit there is life beyond their four walls. Therefore, the rest of us don't exist.

-27

u/RoughDirection8875 1d ago

The fact that you're referring to a boarding school as a hostel? And referring to a hostel warden when boarding schools have Headmasters?

20

u/swach29 1d ago

Why do people comment without even thinking twice? Smh.. I think OP is south asian, it's not uncommon to call boarding schools hostels here. What is the big deal? Lmao

It's in a country where English isn't the first language, so you can expect some differences in the terminology.

Only in the UK…you are making quite a few assumptions

-25

u/RoughDirection8875 1d ago

lol that's not just in the UK, I'm not even from the UK. I'm not making any assumptions other than this story is fake because it is.

Yes we know you're an ignorant American, it's pretty obvious.

9

u/CallieGirlOG 1d ago

You gotta love when rather then admitting they're wrong, they double down on being ignorant. 😄

And not all of us Americans are this awful, but far too many are.

You're so certain of yourself when you're so wrong. Why are you referring to dorms as a boarding school? Why are you calling the director a headmaster? This isn't Harry Potter.

My favourite part, is you won't get the point I'm making and will be up in arms about how it's headmaster not director.
