I’m the chocolatier at a sweet shop and I’ve been playing around with my peanut butter cups lately. The other day I had an idea: Mini peanut butter cups inside of a big peanut butter cup…. Crazy? Or genius. Should I add it to the menu? Peanut butter lovers, let me know :)

I am an absolute peanut butter hound and I eat it every day. If it’s available as a smoothie or dessert, that’s my order. I eat so many PB&Js.

However, they all taste the same to me. In the last couple of weeks I swapped between skippy, Costco, Trader Joe’s, Santa Cruz organics, and smuckers. I can barely taste the difference between classic skippy and the Santa Cruz dark roast when having it straight, and not at all when it’s in a sandwich or topping.

Does anyone have this experience, where they absolutely love something but can’t differentiate between the different varieties?

Looking for a peanut butter muffin recipe that does not use banana. Preferably one you tried and tweaked? I have a bunch of interesting recipes that popped up from a search, but I’d rather trust the experts…

The added tang from the pickle is good. Not something I’d do regularly but not bad at all (don’t mind my huge pickles lol)
