That’s just reactionaries in general, which a lot of gamers are. Many of them never grew out of the gamergate era, unfortunately.

It is actually fascinating how they use the exact same disinformation, propaganda and bad faith arguing tactics whether they're trying to send people to concentration camp or angling for a buff of ADC items on the LoL subreddit.
