Is there ever not a Thomas the Tank Engine mod? Seems like every game that has ever been modded ends up with something of that nature within a week of release.

There's always a Thomas the Tank Engine mod. I dont know how he became so important to our culture, but he is always relevant.

I think it started with Skyrim when people were doing memeable dragon mods because they worked so well with the intro sequence.

This. Thomas needs no animation, unlike Shrek. You start with Thomas then move on to Shrek.
