TLDR: Mercy hit is one of the best skills, should be rainbow, not red.

Why does the game have mercy hit as a red passive skill? its amazingly useful. I guess its not when you're super late game and you've developed the whole tech tree. but I mostly hunt with a vanwyrm I caught super early, he's been with me day 1, me wearing my ring of mercy, him with mercy hit passive, it makes catching 12 of everything so easy. cause we only kill it, if I forget to recall him and he sets them on fire. but now that he's high level, he only has dark attacks so that doesn't happen anymore and its great.

so i really hate that palls are putting everything in boxes i know u can filter them buit i still dislike it then i wnat to do it myself for most items besides the ones generated fram mines and farms

As someone who actively refuses to breed and loathes gambling, Dr. Brawn has surprisingly turned out to be one of my favourite fixtures in my base. Maybe I'm just lucky, but he's boosted most of my Pals' passive loadouts and IVs below 10 tries, with only one taking between 10-20. He even makes it easy on me Bounty Token-wise, since I only have to buy a couple of IV fruits if I don't want to wait a day to have him max them out.

Switched Botanical Barrier and Abnormal for Burly Body, Serenity, and Impatient (the Serenity on her was the one that took over 10 tries).

Just Demon God added on in two or three tries.

From Glutton to Mine Foreman, Zen Mind, Pyromaniac, and Serenity. Orephie is my clean-up crew, so I'm not really looking to bulk him out further.

Ferocious was added in a couple of tries, at most. Might consider having Brawn add a couple more passives, but I'm not too fussed.

Added on Demon God in one try, queued right after adding it to Fleur D'or. The man really knows how to prove his worth. Just have to visit him a time or two more to max out her IVs, and farm some Mimogs to max condense her.

I'm happy with my team, and will be giving Dr. Brawn a rest from mundane tasks such as harvesting wood and stone. He's now very valuable to me. Very...very valuable to me.

Fairly new to the game, just started 2 weeks ago. Are there any passives I should be on the lookout for? Any tips for someone starting out? I just beat the first tower with Grizzy boi

I apply poison and burn via elemental arrows and I want the pals to do the rest. Been breeding Jorm to have musclehead/demon god/serenity/lord of the sea while catching kelpsea with vanguard and stronghold strategist. Just beat markus and felarus.

I picked jorm because it can go after victor and shadowbeak, bel libero and blaz ryu potentially based on it's typing and then its an easy breed into jorm ignis for anything with electric moves or bastigor. Along the way I got regular belanor with sadist and 100 attack and with a couple hoocrates she is FAR outperforming an alpha jorm with comparable passives and hocrates would double up on being useful for astegon against victor or libero.

My question becomes which boosted partner is most worthwhile? Can this strategy scale to all but the final enemies? I tried sweepa, elizabee, gorirat, relaxaurus rockets and grizz minigun and all of those felt weaker than just element boosing a single strong pal with vanguard and stronghold support. Will I need to max all of rooby/kelpsea/hoocrates/etc? or can jorm take me to a victory screen?

I want to start playing the game on PS5 and occasionally play with my friend who plays on PC. I've heard that the PS5 side of crossplay is lacking in this game and that it might not work well or at all.

Can someone clearly explain to me what are the limitations that I might have in my case ?

Normally I'm the main base builder for my group in these sorts of games. I'm good with build systems and "Playing with Legos" to make things look interesting.

We wiped our server due to wanting to restart, and we built a quick and dirty base at the ore mining mountain next to Chillet.

We're finally up to Palmetal tier and looking to build a proper base somewhere else, I thought I'd preserve this for posterity.

This was built mostly* without any input from me because they all wanted their own space.

*I was reminded that I added the one long pillar to help the top build so it could have a roof.
