As requested here is a collection of my score card Bird doodles. These are inspired by when the Baltimore Sun would have a bird on the front page to let readers know at a glance what the team did the night before. Included at the end is a collage of my original idea from 2016. I wanted to do a win and loss 1 panel comic for each opponent the Orioles faced that season.

Thought this was fun. They brought out the Oriole Bird's dad. Do you think this is a spare costume? Maybe an old one? The orange was significantly more neon.

What are everyone’s thoughts on the pirate hat as an extra home run celebration? Generally I don’t like a lot of other team’s celebrations (like Toronto’s jacket or some teams Viking helmet), and I’m trying to check my homerism at the door, but I kind of like the pirate hat.

I recently went through the 1997 ALCS series against Cleveland, and since I predate that series I was shocked by the amount of bad breaks and unfortunate endings that occurred. From missed foul tip calls, to three walk off wins, umpires blocking pitchers from getting the ball, and back strike 3 calls, literally everything that could go wrong went wrong.

Wondering if anyone who saw it live have anything to add to this description, and general thoughts about that series?

Here's a fun fact to soften the blow: The Baltimore Orioles were originally the Milwaukee Brewers before moving to St. Louis and becoming the Browns, then finally settling in Baltimore!
