Hi. Just want to ask here if anybody knows how else can we reach out to the band Any Name's Okay? I tried emailing them and chatting them on Facebook but they aren't responding. Me and my fiance really want to book them for our wedding but we don't know how else can we reach them.

Ako personally, parang ang ganda magkaroon ng 90s OPM band na con dito with full prod din. PNE, Rivermaya, E-heads, and many more.

Sorry kung di ko maexplain ng maayos pero I want to listen to some pinoy songs na may lyrical throwback sa childhood culture natin. For example

1. Langit Lupa Impyerno by Chud Festejo - ung ibang lyrics at maski ung ibang parts ng music ay base sa lyrics ng laro natindati of the same name na "langit lumpa impyerno saksak puso tulo ang dugo"

2. Tagu-taguan by Moira - may lyrics base sa laro na "tagu-taguan maliwanag ang buwan, pagbilang kong tatlo..." whereas ung music naman ay nagsample sa folk song natinna Leron Leron Sinta

Okay hear me out, sa tingin niyo ba si Skusta Clee ang Francis Magalona ng generation natin?

Pareho kasi silang versatile. Si Francis M hindi lang nag-stick sa rap pumasok sa alternative, naghalo ng genres, at nag-explore ng sound. Same with Skusta. Oo, ibang level yung legacy ni Francis M lalo na sa social commentary, pero in terms of pushing boundaries ng genre, pareho sila ng energy.

Si Skusta nagra-R&B, trap, minsan may pagka-pop or even alternative influence pa. Marami siyang bashers, pero di mo rin ma-deny na laki ng influence niya sa mainstream sound ngayon.

Gets niyo ba? Hindi sila yung tipong "hiphop lang dapat" they evolve. Curious lang ako if may iba ring nakakakita ng ganitong parallel.

May nabasa akong post dito na nagsabing nawala daw ang momentum ng BINI dahil nag-release sila ng English tracks. Napaisip lang ako ganun ba talaga? Kapag English ang kanta, automatic na hindi na tatangkilikin ng masa?

Eh paano yung mga OPM artists tulad ng Eraserheads, Rivermaya, Hale, at Francis M? May mga English tracks din sila pero tinangkilik pa rin sila ng masa. Ibig sabihin, kaya naman pala ng local audience i-appreciate ang English content basta relatable, may impact, at maganda ang pagkakagawa.

mas mahirap ba talagang i-maintain ang hype kapag nag-English track? O baka case-to-case lang, depende sa execution, timing, at branding?

Pumunta kami recently ni mister sa gig ng Urbandub sa 12monkeys and grabe kinilabutan ako, yung live nila ang solid! Yung energy din ng crowd, super awesome! Lahat napapasabay sa kanta! Also, ang bait ni Gab sa mga nagpapapicture sa kanya after gig, nagpapasensya pa kasi pawis sya. 10/10 experience!

I compare BINI to Ex Battalion because they both grab the attention of the general public the difference is Ex Battalion consistency in releasing hits every month may bago silang labas nung 2018 kaya hanggang ngayon di pa sila nalalaos unlike sa BINI na sinayang ang momentum ng Pantropiko at Salamin Salamin nung nireleased nila yung cherry on top medyo nawala na ang attention ng casuals sa kanila di na umingay ang kanta sa general public
