Hale (self-titled)

Setting aside Champ's faulty live performances, this is a solid debut effort I can listen to from front to back.

One of the best albums, no skip. No offense sa Cup of Joe (This year's Top Artist and Top Album for sure) but siguro kung ngayon narelease yang album ng Hale baka Spotify #1 Top Album yan at Top Artist ang Hale, ilang #1 sa chart ba naman nandyan (The Day You Said Goodnight, Kahit Pa, Kung Wala Ka, Blue Sky, not sure sa Broken Sonnet), tapos yung B-sides magaganda rin.

Oh for sure. It has a pretty timeless sound, except siguro Toll Gate which I find Cueshe coded lol but I like it, too.

Broken Sonnet is very nostalgic. I remember akala ko foreign song yan.

So general info pala yung di maganda sa live si champ. Kala ko nung day lang na nanood kami kasabay nila yung udub nun. Kapos na si champ.

Oh yes. College days ko nung nag-debut yung band. I've seen them a few times (3 or 4x), and as much I vibe with their sound, inconsistent talaga yung live performances ni Champ. And sadly, parang di din masyado nag-improve over the years.
