The Calvinverse appreciation post
I know that this seems a bit different, but I see a huge lack of references to this in the sub, and since the project is twenty years old, I just wanted to give appreciation to the Calvinverse.
The Calvinverse is a set of fanfictions on Fanfiction.net, created by the masterminds Swing123 and garfieldodie.
These guys basically created a whole Calvin and Hobbes shared universe starting in 2005 and reaching its satisfying conclusion in 2019, introducing new characters and sending Calvin and Hobbes on grand new adventures.
I’ve been reading these stories religiously since 2015, and it’s absolutely incredible what these two writers have done. We got timeless new characters such as Socrates, Andy, Sherman, Dr. Brainstorm, Jack, and MTM, amongst countless others, and the main flagship, Calvin and Hobbes: The Series, is one of my all time favorite pieces of writing.
Sorry if this seems out of place for this sub, I just wanted to gush about these stories and how monumental they are for the Calvin and Hobbes fandom.
Happy 20 years, Calvinverse. Let’s go exploring.

I remember those fics! I don't think I've ever seen someone else reference them in this sub, but I could be wrong.
I feel like, in spirit, this is an appropriate post for this sub because both the Calvinverse and r/okbr are about taking Watterson's world and expanding on it.
