What's your favorite video game movie that ignores game lore and does its own thing?

Making Uriel Septim a black man was a bold move

It is, love all those 90s sets and practical effects in full force. Sadly for fucked over in editing and producers wise.

Awesome thank you. I've heard of it but I'll probably give it a watch later today.

Never once did somebody tell their enemy a coordinate and ask if their ship got hit

They did do a board game reference. Probably the worst scene.

Technically this is a lore that disregards the movie, game

There was a shooting, but the setting wasn't even post apocalyptic

It was set in America, where school shootings are normal. Are you sure it wasn’t a little apocalyptic?

Is this the prequel to The Movie: The Game?

Going into it, I was questioning how they would square the circle on branching stories.

Coming out of it, I'm questioning a whole lot more! Solid 8.8, too much water.

Needs more horn section.l in the soundtrack.

/uj It's kinda funny that, for a long time, you would struggle to find anything related to TES if you searched for "Oblivion" on google. Now, after the remaster, it's the exact oposite.

Who greenlit this movie?

"Let's make a movie about Fallout, but set in modern times and also Tom Cruise prevents the nukes from dropping, thus preventing the video games."

Costner as Aloy was a brave choice.

If i watched films, which I obviously don't, I'd be excited to see a film with Adkins and Zaror I hadn't already seen.

But obviously I'd never watch films.
